The girlwith the long curly red hair walks closer with graceful ease, giving you a small wave in greeting, the small hummingbird fluttering excitedly back and forth around her. "Greetings and salutations travellers, my name is Maddie and this here is my dear friend Willow. We hail from the courts of the Feywild but now we find ourselves in a land in need of help"The fey girl explains with a graceful bow and a smile so warm it could melt the hearts of men, women and others, motioning to the himmingbird who is in fact a tiny sprite that seems to be in constant excited motion, moving swiftly up to each of strangers to give them her own quick greeting.
"Have you heard of the dragon threatening these lands. There is supposed to be help to defend against it hidden under this barrow, but somehow I suspect that is precisely what brought brave adventurers like your heroic selves to this place." She girlstates as she looks over you all, not even flinching as she lays eyes on the undead dwarf among you. "It would be my genuine pleasure if I was allowed to accompany you." She ends with another bow and a warm smile.
When Meirafirst notes the figure, she motions to the others, watching it warily. As the distance shrinks, she makes out that it is a young woman, and she notes something flitting about near her. She says softly to the group, "There's a sprite flitting about her. How strange."
As the girlwaves, she quickly runs a hand through her very short hair. Hearing her comment, she puts one hand on her hip, giving the red-haired woman a confident smile. "Oh, we are well aware of the dragons in the area," she replies, making sure to emphasize the plural form of 'dragon'. "We have had near encounters with both of them," she adds. "And yes, we too have heard of the sword that is said to be within this barrow."
Then as Willowcomes up to give her own greeting, Meirasteps back a bit, in surprise. "Ah, yes, hello!" she responds in a tiny bit flustered tone. She then looks over at Maddie. "A pleasure to meet you. I am Meira Dheran," she says, trying to regain her composure. "You and your companion have come from the Feywild specifically to help out with the dragons? How did you even learn of the dragon? Or get here?" She glances around a bit, especially searching beyond her. "Is it just the two of you? Out here in the wilderness alone?"
The girlwith the long curly red hair smiles and tilts her head as she looks at Meira and the confidence she exudes with cheerful joy. "I knew it, you are indeed the great heroes of these lands Meira Dheran, your reputation precedes you and your companions milady. As for me I am a simple visitor that have travelled this realm for some time and only days ago arrived in a nice little place called Phandalin where I heard about the dragon threat, but also about you and your heroic deeds. While I have spent much time in the fey courts I am no stranger to journeying through the wilds, a place I would call home as much as any other place, besides, Willow is always there to warn me of danger lurking and I do wield some magical tricks to handle things that can't be fooled or otherwise avoided."She explains with calm confidence. "Now, how about we retrieve that blade and go dragon hunting." She says, looking around at the heroes while the tiny sprite flies excitedly around you, only stopping to admire Meira's haircut, moving her hand through her own hair as if trying to imagine having something similar.
Zephyroslooks puzzled as to why a girlwould be out here all alone. His question eventually answered when the fey reveals her identity. 'I'll never understand otherworldly beings,' The veteranponders. The bearded bear, not wanting to be rude, introduces himself to Maddieand gives a hesitant nod toward the humming bird. 'Aren't sprites those tricksters in those children's books?'He thinks to himself. "ZephyrosIronheart, at your service."
After formal introductions, Zephyroslets Meirado the talking. He was glad the roguewas charismatic, as Ironheart was most certainly an introvert. He is, however, thankful to hear that he and his companions weren't the only ones taking action to stop the draconic menace. "We greatly appreciate you and your friend's assistance."The old man calmly says. He continues, "Yes, I agree. We should press on with our mission as soon as possible."
You scour the Dragon Barrow, walking around the dragon shaped hill. Walking along the top of the hill you continue to search, but fail to find an entrance.
Meira watches as Zephyros wants around the hill, seemingly without success. She glances at Maddie. "You don't happen to know how to get inside do you? I'm going to take a look."
She starts to take a look herself. (Perception: 13)
