The girl with the long curly red hair claps her hands as the two warriors valorously turn over the stone to grant them all entrance into the barrow, then following the others down with graceful ease. "A light luring people astray is known as a Will-o'-the-wisp where I'm from, could be dangerous too."Maddie calmly points out as the receding lights are spotted.
"So you are the commander of these brave heroes then, good to know, I wouldn't want to disobey any orders from such a valourous man as you good dwarf."She says with a bow and a small amused smile. A gilded flower then appears in her slender hand and after a short melodic rhyme in sylvan a new fey appears before her, wielding a fey blade. "Oh, and this here is Tempest, another one of my friends." Maddie cheerfully and excitedly explains as the new addition to the group bows mid air while hovering courtesy of her green gossamer wings.
The small gathering of fey then follows along to explore the barrow.

With Maddie's comment, it becomes too much for Meira to hold her tongue. "To be clear," she starts in a firm but calm tone. "Kithran is not in charge. There is no commander."
There's a pause before she adds."Now is not the time for this conversation."
As the group moves deeper into the barrow to the north...
Meira,
You do hear some slight clicking noises coming from the south. It reminds you of the way Lord Kithran's skeletal minions sounded as they walked out of the throne room of Axeholm.
Kithran,
Your maul explodes into flame, illuminating the passageway. The ember flicker of light quickly dominates the dim eerie blue that continues to move away from you to the north.
You take in a disgusting, noxious smell that emanates from the blue light. As you round the corner of the passage, you see the light hovering only 10' away and recognize it as undead.
Zephyros,
You look for traps as you follow close behind Kithran in the cramped corridor, just as Kithran steps forward towards the floating blue light, you notice the ground beneath the Paladin about to give way. Unfortunately, your warning comes a moment too late.
Maddie,
You pull out a gilded flower and use it to summon Tempest. Afterwards, you follow along in the back of the pack...
Willowflitters and flutters between and around the other party members. She confirms to you that the light hovering just beyond the reach of Kithran is a tiny Will-o-wisp
... Suddenly, the earthen floor gives way under the Paladin's heavy boots. Kithran falls into a 10' deep pit trap filled with jagged rusty swords taking 3 bludgeoning and 9 piercing damage. As he does, the eerie blue light darts at him with lightning fast speed, but (Attack: 2) it misjudges the height of the dwarf and completely misses him with a crackling lightning attack.
[[OOC: This should resolve quickly, Everyone may act in any order. It is the group's initiative now.]]
"Kithran only joined us a short while ago," Gareth continues, backing Meira up. "Although we met him before. That's a bit of a long story."
The ranger watches as Maddie summons yet another fey creature to aid them, what looks like a tiny fairy wielding a tiny sword. "You sure have a lot of tricks up your sleeve," Gareth comments. "Not that I'm complaining or anything. More help is always welcome."
As their new paladin friend leads the way, he suddenly falls into a hidden pit, and the dancing lights converge on him, lashing out at him with lightning magic. It's a little cramped in the corridor, but the ranger nocks an arrow and releases it at the will-o-wisp.

Lord Kithran falls into the pit, the rusted swords cutting him in various places. He calls out to the wisp. "Stop what you're doing. I can ease your suffering, but I need your obedience first."
[OOC: He used the control undead channeled divinity. The wisp needs to succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or obey my commands for the next 24 hours.]
[[OOC: @Gareth, yes you are attuned to your magic items of choice.]]
Garethpushes past allies and lets fly two arrows in quick succession, but only the second one hits as the cover provided to the tiny globe of light by the pit trap somewhat protects it from the attack. It's light flickers as the arrow hits.
At almost the same time, Lord Kithran takes control of the Will-o-wisp. It hovers near the death night, awaiting his command.
The room opens up just beyond the pit trap. Two sarcophagi in alcoves to the left and right of the room. Past that, the walls of of this room appear to be made of large dragon bones. A huge dragon skull rests in the middle of the floor to the north, a shortsword embedded in the skull of this long dead dragon.
As the will-o-wisp ceases its attack, apparently waiting for Kithran to give it instructions, Gareth lowers his bow. Their new companions were already proving themselves to be quite useful. The ranger retrieves the two arrows he just released, only one of them having passed through the wisp. He stares down into the pit trap where Kithran fell. "Need a hand?" The ranger will help the dwarven paladin climb out of the pit.
Moving into the next room, Gareth observes the two sarcophagi, Kithran's admonishment not to disturb the dead echoing in his mind. Aside from the sarcophagi, the ranger notices the walls seem to be made of dragon bones, and there's a massive skull with a sword sticking out of it.
"Who wants to pull the sword out of the skull?" Gareth asks wryly.

Once it seems Kithran had been pulled out of the trap he'd fallen into, Meiracontinues on, taking a close look at the room. "I'll take a look at the skull and sword," she offers, "and see if there are any traps involved." Approaching cautiously, she checks it out. (Investigation: 21)
