The natural walls of the cave that you have been traversing have collapsed, revealing an open chamber, of worked stone.
The walls, ceiling, and floor are of a light colored, smooth stone. Though this place appears to be old, it is clean, and the rest of it is intact. Six feet off the ground, there are two small ledges in the southern corners of the room. Two corridors end abruptly, each at a closed, wooden door.
Searching the area, Portia notices a small trip wire near the eastern door, about six inches off the ground, shining faintly from Dragen's torch. Following the wire up, it is attached to a small bottle hanging from the ceiling, eight feet above the ground.
[Anyone proficient in thieves' tools you can attempt to disarm the trap and possibly save the bottle from smashing. Now that your aware of the wire, you could easily step over the wire].
Grommok - The ledges are near the collapsed wall, not the tripwire door, sorry for the confusion, updated pic below. You assume the ledges are where the Kobolds would stand, guarding the entry way, flying down to surprise any intruders.
Portia - Deftly cults the wire and safely retrieves the bottle and is able to determine it is one Alchemist's Fire (flask).
Gelidus sighs. "This thief and their mind games... Just like the centipedes trap earlier, could this be another distraction trick?" Their eyebrows furrow, annoyed at the idea of being outsmarted. "Either way, we should hurry. Perhaps a quick look to see what's behind each door won't be a bad idea."
"OK, I'll try the right door first, wait here." Portia moves to the right hand door and carefully looks for any other surprises. If she doesn't find anything, she will carefully turn the handle, open the door a fraction, and take a peek to see what is beyond.
OOC: I've rolled all the checks I think may be needed.
[Your still in the initial room, but I will unveil some more of the map so were not going 5 feet every 24 hours :) ]
Peering down the hall, you see a small room, which from the slightly cracked door Portia, appears empty. Further up, two corridors break to the left, ending at doors.
"So, that's one door. I'll try the other one and see what we have there, maybe it will give us better options". She opens the other (left) door and takes a peek.
Portia cracks the door, only to find another door a short way away. Continuing onwards, she cracks that one too and looks upon a large room with four kobolds. The room is dark, her vision limited to a bit of light from the torch, crackling faintly behind her held by Dragen. A light source, no doubt, the kobolds are soon to notice.
In the southern part of the room are four beds, which look more like nests to the halfling, upon which two kobolds sleep. Another kobold stands guard, right in front of the door, currently looking the other way. Another Kobold paces the room; a large wicker basket is tied to its back.
She can barely make out two doors in the darkness, a closed one directly across from Portia, and another one to the north, which is currently open, revealing a corridor leading on.
Portia quickly backs up, closing the door gently, and signalling Dragen to go back. Once they have regrouped she explains what she's seen.
"So, we seem to have two choices. Go through the first door and explore further; or through the second one which is probably going to be a fight." She pauses "Unless we can talk to them?"
"More kobolds? Hells, this place really makes you wonder what sort of thief we're dealing with..."
Gelidus pauses, considering Portia's words before speaking. "That may be too risky, four of them wouldn't be an easy fight if we failed... Besides, there's a chance something is beyond that opened door, and we might alert it."

Grommok will carefully step over the wire and investigate the ledges.

"I cast Fireball."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"I cast Fireball."
"It's a 15 by 15 room."
"I said I cast Fireball."
Portia investigates the trip wire and attempts to disable the trap.
Investigation 18

She carefully disables the trap and gently lowers the bottle. Once it's safe she investigates the bottle to determine its contents.

Portia - Deftly cults the wire and safely retrieves the bottle and is able to determine it is one Alchemist's Fire (flask).
[The blue line is the tripwire]
Portia carefully passes the bottle to Grommok.
"I think you'll be able to throw this further than me if we get desperate." She looks to the others "Left or right door?"

"Typically trap the area you don't want people going in. I say right" Dragen says, admiring Portia's handiwork with a smile
But maybe they want us to think we should go that way, or maybe they expected we would think of that, and we should go that way, Grommok says
"I cast Fireball."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"I cast Fireball."
"It's a 15 by 15 room."
"I said I cast Fireball."
"Reasonable as well. Prefer not to second guess though. Simplest answer is most often correct." Dragen says

"We should make a two prong attack against these two doors, it feels like they may lead to the same place."
Dragen says pointing at the first door down the corridor and the door to left in the main room

We should be careful. The kobolds are bound to have more traps.
