We can say that Alaric is following along for now, lost in his own thoughts or something.

My plan is to introduce the new character, Sinak, as this new scene unfolds.

Well done on the anagram, Boff!  Randel Voz and Draz Volen are indeed the same person ... I mean, umm ... ghost.

[Note: Boff currently has Heroic Inspiration marked, but in this version when you gain HI and already have it marked, you can award the HI to another character.  Gooterat could benefit from this as this character does not have HI marked.]

Also, Sinak is GO!  He replaced Alaric in a flash of light.

Technically, you guys just finished a short rest (wherein Gooterat determined the nature of the wand he had found), but since we're heading right into a long rest ... there is no need to alter anything on your sheets.

Take a post or two to get to know one another, and then we'll head into the seance (and the long rest).

Twombley: just to clarify... Boff doesn't really understand anyone's language much except Gooterat, so he probably didn't pick up on Sinak's question.

Ok, didn't know, I guess Gooterat will have to translate.  And there are two humans at the table as well?  Laurie and Gennifer?

Boff speaks with a heavy accent and he can understand / make himself known to the party members.

Native speakers of Vaasi and Mordentish (Cassian, Laurie, and Gennifer) will speak either too quickly, or have such and accent that Boff will not be able to follow along and/or make himself understood.

Yes and a another human as well, Cassian.  The paladin entered a catatonic state after the last seance and has not recovered.

Normally, Boff could not understand Cassian when he spoke ... but it is not Cassian speaking ... and Boff can understand the ghostly presence that is speaking through him.
