If I'm being honest, hamsterfolk seem rather weak. They have similar traits to a satyr, but without the prof. You should probably make it a slight bit stronger and it'll be perfectly balanced.
Is the hamsterfolk a relative of the giant space hamster or the minature giant space hamster the same way owling are related to giant owls?
Sure
I was going for a Forest-based hamster species but they can be related to The Giant Space Hamster.
*Oh nah I don't mean has to be Space Hamster, that was just a question- it's your homebrew, make up the lore you want. I'm just making sure it's not OP or too weak and trying to know what it is*
Backstory: Bedivere was born as the third son of the royal knight Sir Bedivere von Wilhelm II. As the one to inherit his father's name, he trained diligently to be a soldier his father would be proud of. Due to his strong sense of duty, Bedivere would often travel down to the villages nearby to patrol nearby forests, take on an odd job here or there, or to simply chat with the common folk. Bedivere’s behavior, despite being nobility, earned him the respect of the peasants and the nickname “Brother B”. But one night, on a job searching for a lost child by the light of the full moon, Bedivere came across a beast unlike anything he’d ever seen before - a bear twice the size he was, with ferocious fangs and wicked sharp claws. Bedivere fought bravely, but the bear eventually wore him down, knocking him to his knees. Though he tried his hardest to ward off the beast, he lost an eye to the ferocious beast before he could wound it enough to chase it off. Bedivere eventually found the child, but that encounter with the beast left a mark on him. From that day on he decided to go on a journey to strengthen himself, should the beast ever meet him again. And so, with a heavy heart, he left his town and set off to become stronger.

Backstory: The last child of a minor noble family, Ilryia is noble by birth but hasn't led a particularly aristocratic life. Instead, she found herself sent off to a monastery with a small allowance and the promise of maybe eventually getting some title or another the day she turned 14. At first, she was bored by life at the monastery, but she came to enjoy theocratic life after a while. While most monasteries dedicated themselves to one particular god, hers taught that all gods of a concept deserved respect, regardless of pantheon. Only a year later, her house came calling. After a cousin vanished during training as a knight, his patron offered her the chance to train as a knight herself. She agreed and took up the monotonous training, but was quickly disavowed for heresy; her patron held firm in his belief and didn't appreciate her polypantheonic ideas. She contemplated returning to her monastery, but chose to take up life as a guard instead, where she eventually earned steady work on a ship. For the next sixteen years, she fulfilled her job well, but eventually her ship happened upon a sea beast (I'm keeping this vague; any high CR water monster works well enough) far too powerful for the ship's mercenaries, which destroyed it. She wasn't the only survivor, but she was aided in getting back to shore by a mysterious current that only affected her, splitting her apart from the others. She landed in a major city, where she was helped out of the ocean by two acolytes from her very monastery, despite being nowhere near it. Ilyria took this miraculous event as an omen. She rededicated herself to religious life in the city and eventually curried enough favour with a sea god (she's not entirely sure which one) to become a Paladin, gifted with magic. In the few years since then, she's taken up work as a freelance guard, working on both oceangoing vessels and riverboats for short journeys. Through all this, she's maintained sporadic contact with her family, but has only seen them in person a handful of times. Right now, she's looking for another job.
Gruthorpe lived a simple honest life in the open air upon any ship he could. He loved seeing the world, the good and the bad. If he hadn't been someplace before, he was willing to join a crew to explore. He was a capable Sailor, had a few different crews he worked on over the years. Exploration vessels, delivering services, even an occasional pirate ship with don't ask don't tell policies. Gruthorpe always likes to keep moving and preferred going to a new location over ones he's been to before.
I have come to inform tarasque that he needs a character on Aaron’s Crew.
