Lucas/Saluc recognises the Devil as am Erinyes; sometimes known as a Fury. Fortunately for whomever it is hunting/pursuing there is only one of them not the usual three.
One of the figures, an elf dressed in black leather and silver tracery, ignores Lucas/Saluc still disguised as a Svirfneblin and speaks directly to Corwyn in elvish “do you know of Rubinovy dul?” Seeing Corwyn’s apparent lack of recognition of the name, he continues “… never mind it’s a small gnomish settlement and the grey rats are late with their tithe. We need to go and show them the error of their ways - care to help us?”
Does Corwyn know of Rubinovy Dul - History test = 16
It turns out that Corwyn has indeed heard of Rubinovy Dul which translates as Ruby Mine.
”Indeed?” responds Corwyn neutrally in Elvish, “A serious infraction. It would be an interesting diversion, especially if the pay is in rubies, but unfortunately right now I am following another of the Queen’s web strands, as duty demands.”
”Courrier duty can be boring, but apparently it is an important bauble the deep gnome seeks,” he continues, gesturing towards the illustration Saluc has been showing around.

(OOC: Saluc/Lucas is a duergar, not svrifniblem, but doubt it would've changed reactions. Either way, works in his favor. And it was Torunn that showed the imagery last time)
Under different circumstances Lucas might've at least put on a show of indigination for being summarily dismissed by elf for the sake of his role, but... not this time. This time he had tried to discretely shrink away from the table and any further potential engagement, least some very uncomfortable questions be leveled in his direction by the Erinyes. Yet, he goes no further than the entryway into the chamber, knowing a translator might yet still be needed by the group.

“Yeah, well I for one am not brave enough to question the Spider Queen’s commands. For certain sure she pulls on many different threads!. Pity you’ll miss out on some fun putting those grey rats back in their box…” the elf says to Corwyn. He takes a quick look at the illustration Lucas/Saluc has been showing round and says “… sorry I’ve not seen it. What’s it do?”
"It is a powerful item, one piece of a larger whole. Its exact capabilities are beyond my knowledge, though I thank you that you looked to see if you recognized it," Corwyn continues in elven. "Is there perhaps a place of storage where such items may be kept here, even though you may not be familiar with the details? We could go ask there--or maybe a library where we could research it?" he continues.
