How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Alaric screams as the blades hit, causing green flames to erupt from his blade and surround the mirror Alaric (hellish rebuke). Dc13 dex save or 11 fire damage (half on success). "I know I'm good with a blade, but my mirror image seems to be a bit better! But if you try and help me I don't know if another evil mirror will appear of you."
He then casts hex targeting str before swinging his sword twice himself (both actions) 11 and 14 to hit (I expect both miss but just in case) damage is 5 and 13.
The young gnome felt the connection as much as he saw the arching energy connecting him to the ghost woman. His brows furrow as he looks at the ghost, and immediately regrets it. The terror that emanated from the ghost was palpable. For a moment, Gooterat feared that he may actually wet himself. Pure terror stole his breath, and pain, like an arrow to the head, brought him to one knee. He cried out in agony, but managed to stay upright. The arc of energy flashed and faded slightly. Once again the gnome looked within himself, begging for the strength to hold the spell. He almost smiled when the energy surged again, as if the terror fueled his power.
Pleased as he was by the blast, Gooterat knew that he was holding on by a thread. He backed away, fear threatening his very reason. Raising his left hand he fought to maintain his witch bolt while hurling a ball of fire at the ghost. His hand shook so bad from fright that his aim was greatly compromised.
