"We could always walk through, maybe tie a rope to someone and have them walk in. or use your fancy looking glass to look, the riddle did say it would show the way. "
Your bat familiar enters the mist and a small flash of light is seen from within. You see from the bats eyes that it has been transported to a smallish room that looks like it might be a burial vault with an arched ceiling. There are a few odds and ends scattered on the floor of the room, some clothes, weapons, bags etc. There doesn't appear to be an exit that your bat can see.
There seems to be part of the wall that looks like it could be the cover for a crypt, set into the wall. And there is a visible key hole in that section of the wall.
On the floor is some clothes, some armor, a sword, a backpack, some other assorted traveling items.
Here's the text, so you don't have to look back through the thread.
ACERERAK CONGRATULATES YOU ON YOUR POWERS OF OBSERVATION. SO MAKE OF THIS WHATEVER YOU WISH, FOR YOU WILL BE MINE IN THE END NO MATTER WHAT!
Go back to the tormentor or through the arch, and the second great hall you’ll discover. Shun green if you can, but night’s good color is for those of great valor. If shades of red stand for blood the wise will not need sacrifice aught but a loop of magical metal you’re well along your march. Two pits along the way will be found to lead to a fortuitous fall, so check the wall. These keys and those are most important of all, and beware of trembling hands and what will maul. If you find the false you find the true and into the columned hall you’ll come, and there the throne that’s key and keyed. The iron men of visage grim do more than meets the viewer’s eye. You’ve left and left and found my Tomb and now your soul will die.
The mist in Galdr's eyes fades as he snaps to. He begins to mumble something in gnomish as he gestures. His brow furrows as he seems to be focused, though nothing seems to happen.
OOC: Galdr Casts Arcane Eye and sends it through the misty archway. I requoted the rhyme because I believe it might become relevant again soon. The bat didn't happen to see a key in the heap?
Galdr checkout the backpack first and finds some old decaying rations, some torches, and rope. Floating around and through the keyhole you see into a large vault filled with gold, gems, assortment weapons, potions, scrolls, etc.
There are no traps in the treasure vault, although the locking mechanism seems overly complex. As if not just turning a key will open it. The bat could detect that one of the other walls has some sort of empty space behind it.
Galdr speaks as if focused elsewhere, “The room is a crypt which leads to a vault of treasure. A traveler died in the crypt, though his remains are not seen. The keyhole to the vault is too complex to trigger with a key—a pity no thief joined us—and a wall is false within the crypt...but no way exists to exit should that way prove false.”
Crom and Wreckzors disappear through the misty portal.
Galdr you are still viewing the other room through your Arcane Eye, waiting to see Crom and Wreckzors appear, but they don't. Instead you see all of their clothes, items, and weapons appear in the air in the middle of the room, and fall to the floor.
Crom and Galdr, you don't see the small burial chamber with a keyhole in a wall that Galdr described. What you do see is the first room where you entered the tomb, you are standing close to the crawlspace you came through. And you are both completely naked.

Flynt nods. "Either is a good idea. I could walk in if no one has objections."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Galdr calls his bat into existence and sends it through the misty arch. “Let’s try this first.”

Galdr instructs the bat to do a more thorough search of the clothes and for anything that might resemble a body or a place to house the dead.
OOC: Galdr is looking for nooks, coffins, sarcophagi, etc

there was no key in the heap.
What can the magic eye do that the bat couldn't?
OOC: If it enters the room, it can fit into inch wide holes (e.g. key holes and torn packs).

Getting impatient "What do you see? I'm ready to get out of here. I have a bad feeling about this place?"
Galdr checkout the backpack first and finds some old decaying rations, some torches, and rope. Floating around and through the keyhole you see into a large vault filled with gold, gems, assortment weapons, potions, scrolls, etc.
Galdr will investigate the treasure room thoroughly, followed by the crypt with the Arcane Eye looking for traps and/or secret doors.
OOC: Investigation: 10, 21
Did the Bat’s blindsight (60’) pick up any other hollowspaces in the walls, roof, or floor?
There are no traps in the treasure vault, although the locking mechanism seems overly complex. As if not just turning a key will open it. The bat could detect that one of the other walls has some sort of empty space behind it.
***Is Galdr letting us know what he is finding?***

At the mention, Crom interveens
Maybe Im not a chartered thief, but I learnt a thing or two, let me have a look...

Crom are you going through the misty arch?
if it needed to go and examine the lock, yes
Wreckzors will follow him through the portal.
