The bard can't seem to get a read on the man. His thin brows furrow in frustration. Reaching into his pocket, he pulls forth a copper coin. He lifts it to his lips and chants into it, his blue eyes boring a hole through the man in shoddy leathers. With a quick flip of the coin, he locks eyes with the man and begins to probe his thoughts.

"Hey, something is burning and it stinks! We should get out so we can burn the place down!" The Paladin then begins setting free the chickens and frogs.
This place is horrible and deserved to be destroyed.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
While the others deal with the children and the hag's accomplice, Vaelar instead starts to search through the hags' belongings, looking for anything that might identify other citizens of Barovia who were in league with them.
He picked up a scheming mind, someone not used to being talked too in the manner they were doing. His mind was full of vengeance. They had made an enemy. However he didn't want to kill an unarmed man, after all he'd kept neutral during the fight.
The stink of the place filled her nostrils with a rotten stench, how had the hags lived like this? Just to be sure they were dead she debated taking their heads and burning the Mill down to the ground. There are plenty of wooden items and a barrel of oil. She remembered that Indira wanted the soulpouches so she could set the souls free aided by her deity The Raven Queen.
As if reading her Aleryas mind Frederik called from the beam Burn he said keeping it simple. Now in the calm after the battle you can see his talons they are sheathed in steel blades and silvered. He started pulling at loose bits of wood.
Hujj carefully twined the heartstones around his legs, give to clerics, healing stone for all disease
Getting no response from the man, after a long wait Crisaryn finally just steps away. "Yes, let's burn the place down. I can't see any reason anyone would ever use this as a real mill ever again." She starts to look around, "I can certainly provide fire. How do we want to do this? Anything to save?"
Once everyone is outside and Alerya has dumped out the oil, "We have the soulpouches and heartstones. The children, chickens and frogs are safe." She nods, "Fire Away!"

"Your wisdom in remaining neutral has saved you. Be gone from this foul place. No more children will be lost to the hag's vile schemes." As the man leaves Illmirth follows him out. He offers the ravens some pork bits, thanking them for their aid. "Well done little friends. You were indeed ready for war!"
As the companions gathered a safe distance from the windmill Illmirth sang. His song was upbeat, celebrating their victory and the freedom of the children. His voice rises into the sky like the smoke of Old Bonegrinder, his joyful melody lifting the spirits.
When they begin to travel back to Vallaki Illmirth pulled fome rations from his pack and offered them to the children. He tried to amuse them on the ride with illusions and silly voices.

Once everyone is out of the mill, Crisaryn would use her Sorcerous Burst to start to set the wood portions of the mill on fire. Once it seems to be lit, she turns her back on the place and prepares to head back to Vallaki. Her eyes flit across the children as they travel. "What will we do with these kids back in Vallaki? Will there be a place for them there? And their families..." As she makes the comment, her thoughts return to the family that had tried to sell their child. She wondered if these had been abandoned by family or if they had truly been stolen. She wouldn't put it past the hags to have done either.

Vaelar found a small pouch full of gold, with luck it would pay for the childrens future homes, maybe an apprenticeship in Vallaki.
