Illmirth hesitates before replying to Indira. In his mind Indira and the ravens, indeed all of the followers of the Raven Queen, had proven their friendship and value as allies. He would welcome their company and knowledge, however he did not speak for the party; his voice, magnificent as it may be, was but one of five. He would hear from his allies before voicing his own opinion. If any one else welcomed them, Illmirth would be quick to support the idea.
He was also fine to tell Indira of the purpose of their search for the elf, but again, respected the opinions of his companions too much to speak of it without their agreement to do so.

Crisaryn answers Indira. "We are looking for a wounded elf. He has a Ravenkind holy symbol that we need to get. I think his name is Kasimir. Or maybe he's just at Kasimir's home? Near the Vistani camp outside Vallaki. Do you know where that is?"
The happy go lucky bard looked at Crisaryn with a smile and approving nod. He was half tempted to pat her on the shoulder, but he did not. The sorceress did not generally rock a vibe of warm fuzzies. He would be happy that she trusted Indria as well.
"For my part you are welcome. Frederik has a standing invitation as well. Something about that little fellow is quite endearing," he adds with a warm smile to Indria.

Kasimir lives in the permanent Vistani camp right next to the travelling wagons, he's quite prickly and recently lost the Vistani woman he loved. Be gentle.
You say that he has the medallion of Ravenkind? That rightfully belongs to a cleric of the Raven Queen. Strahd won it in battle years ago but couldn't use it, and we have had few called clerics anymore. Perhaps when you are finished with it you'll return it to Rhianne where it belongs. Feel free to go up to the ravenloft at the Tavern and talk to Frederik, I'm sure he'd like to come with you.
***OoC: assuming we have enough daylight to make it there and back before dark...***
"That's a fine idea," Illmirth replies with a smile. He made a mental note to pick up some more meat trimmings for Fredrik. "And it does seem appropriate for a holy symbol of Ravenkind to be with one of their own, but I find it unlikely that something so valuable will be easy to obtain. In addition, from all accounts the fellow who has it isn't particularly friendly. We shall see what this Kasimir has to say, and hopefully find a way to acquire it."
When the party is ready to mount up and head to the Viatani camp he runs to the ravenloft and calls to Frederik. "We travel to the Vistani camp to find an elf. Would you like to come with us?"
Right before they roll out he pops into the tavern to trade a silver for whatever trimmings they have laying around in the kitchen.

Indira smiles then walks away from them, I'll see you later she calls.
Frederik hears Illmirths call and wings down to his shoulder. He no longer wears the combat blades so takes a gentle grip with his talons Vistani his voice pipes up hopefully.
The permanent Vistani camp is north near the shores of lake Zarrovich. A family gathering of cabins and Vardo. They rarely go into Vallaki except for trading. You'll find Ellis there and hopefully Kasimir.
Ready for some time, Crisaryn waits for Illmirth to run off to the ravenloft. When he returns, she asks, "Ready to go? We should get moving so we can get back before dark." She pauses a moment. "We would come back to Vallaki, right?"
The young blonde priestess would be waiting with the sorceress, ready to head out to the Vistani camp. "I don't see why not." She says in agreement with Crisaryn.
The bard returned in short order, Frederik bouncing along as he hurried to return to the group. "Indeed, we travel to the Vistani encampment," he said to Fredrik. Offering him a bit pork. Turning back to the team, smile as wide as ever, he says, "Well then, let us be off, we have an elf talk to."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Seeing Alerya's confused look at mention of the elf, Illmirth shifted his pace a smidge to walk along beside her.
"We spoke with Madam Eva of the Vistani. She read her cards for us. We were told to seek out this elf, Kasimir, who possesses a powerful relic called the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind. It is one of three items the cards told us of. There is also a book called the Tome of Strahd, and an enchanted sword, or at least part of one. With these items, and a few allies, we hope to free this place from the clutches of Strahd." The bard makes no presence of bravery, he spoke in hushed whispers. The very name of the Devil Strahd sent a shiver down his spine.
"Little friend," Illmirth says, offering Frederik a small bit of pork trimmings, "we know the way to be north, but we are unfamiliar with the lands of Barovia. If you know the way, perhaps you could fly ahead a very short bit and let me know if any danger lurks ahead."
He strokes the soft feathers on top of Frederik's head for s moment then adds, "If you see anything dangerous come back to me right away! I would not have my little friend in harms way, even though I know you are fast and fierce."

Frederik nods and phrucks softly, spreading his wings to fly ahead, keeping just in sight of the party.
The road is well travelled, a pleasure to ride on, in the distance you can hear drumbeats. As usual the Vistani camp seems to be celebrating, though what you have no idea. Best to start with Ellis and find out exactly where Kasimir lives.
Lorelei remembers that she has the spare talisman given to Murdock as Vistani friend, and that Alerya doesn't have one.
Recalling the the old paladin's Vistani talisman, the young blonde priestess steers her steed alongside the gentle firbolg. "Before we met we journeyd with an old paladin." She starts solemnly telling Alerya as she slowly rides along. "He passed only recently in a terrible wasting sickness. He would have wanted you to have this..."She continues, offering the firbolg the Vistani amulet. "...apparently you will be welcomed as a friend by the Vistani if you carry it around your neck." She adds with a friendly smile.
Grateful for the reminder, Illmirth pulls the talisman from beneath his shirt and ensures that it is visible. He also slips a hand into his pack, pulling forth his brightly colored vest and sash. Like a seasoned performer, Illmirth makes a 7 second wardrobe change. His shoulders roll and twist, the vest slipping off even as he tied the sash to his waist. He slid an arm into the new vest he purchased from the Vistsni. His fingers snatched up the discarded vest, and he began to stow it even as his other arm slipped into the other side of the vest. He made a game of it, trying to time his quick change when the others weren't looking.
He pauses a moment, focusing on the beat of the distant drums, learning the gentle rise and fall of the melody, Focused as he was on the music, he couldnt help but side eyed his friends to see if anyone noticed.
***OoC: Slight of hand: 5. Lol. It was way cooler before I rolled.***
Illmirth catches Alerya's raised eyebrow glance right about the time he feels the unusual tightness of the vest pulling against his thin shoulders. He twists a bit to glance over his shoulder, only to realize that he somehow tied himself to the pomel of his saddle. With a sheepish grin he set about extracting himself from the fabric shackles that he so speedily created.
Glancing back to Alerya he weakly said, "Ta daaa.." before laughing at his own mishap. Not all tricks go according to plan, as all seasoned performers know. He would do better next time!
