"Our reputation proceeds us," the bard says with a smile. "Guilty as charged, kind sir. We are strangers to Barovia, but friends of the Vistani. Tis Ellis that we sought, so thank you for pointing the way."
Moving along at a casual pace, Illmirth hums along with the tune that is being played. He greets all with a smile and friendly wave. He dismounts gracefully as they near the home of Ellis and leads the horse gently the remainder of the way. He scans the layout for a place for horses and makes sure the animals are cared for before rejoining the team.

“Let him not vow to walk in the dark, who has not seen the nightfall.” — Elrond
She looks upon the camp in wonder. The free spirited people with their unique clothing were such a change from the other places where people didn't seem as satisfied with life.
Tying Dern to the hitching post she follows the rest of the party.
Crisaryn walks quietly through the camp, subtly taking in all that is going on. It's hard to not notice the joy that these people live with, despite the dread of this land. Of course, they are the only people that come and go from here, so perhaps they do have reason to be glad. She hopes Ellis will be able to get them pointed in the right direction.
You pass the camp guards. The woods part to reveal an expansive clearing: a small, grass-covered hill with low houses built into its sides. Fog obscures the details, but you can see that these buildings feature elegantly carved woodwork and have decorative lanterns hanging from their sculpted eaves. Atop the hill, above the fog, is a ring of barrel-topped wagons that surround a large tent with a column of smoke pouring out through a hole in the top. The tent is brightly lit from within and dyed a deep red, Ellis meeting tent. Even at this distance, you can smell the odors of wine and horses that emanate from this central area.
At the entrance to the red tent you see two elders in red, one female who you have never met and a tall muscled man in red, by his visage from a distance you know that is Ellis.
Illmirth greets the Vistani elders with a low, respectful bow. "Greetings, we seek the council of Ellis. We were directed to you by Madam Eva. May we speak with you for a moment?" he asks politely. He shifts just a tad, to ensure the talisman is visible, even as he risks a quick glance up for Fredrik.

“Let him not vow to walk in the dark, who has not seen the nightfall.” — Elrond
As they move out of the trees, Crisaryn examines the hill and homes that are revealed. "This seems quite the cozy place, despite the fog. I suppose we are headed to the red place at the top?" She continues on until they reach the woman and the man, apparently EIllis. She listens as Illmirth states their business. "I am Crisaryn," she adds. "We'd be most thankful for a bit of your time."
It had seemed that the firbolg had been distracted by the drow's antics, so finally the young blonde priestess shrugs and tucks away the old paladin's amulet again, following along in silence, letting the talkative drow talk to the vistani.
Welcome to our home bard! Have you finished your business in town yet? I hear that there is a wine problem, could you look into it? Ask at the Tavern. We have only cider and spirits to fete your return to us. Come into the tent and we'll drink and take salt together. You can tell me what you seek.
Glancing down at his well made clothes, and flair if Vistsni color, he looks up with a grin. "If you know my trade by my attire, I must be doing something right! Thank you for your hospitality, my name is Illmirth," he says as he enters the central structure. When everyone is assembled he addresses Ellis. "Madam Eva said that you could help us find an elf that lives in or near your unique village. He may have knowledge of an item we were bade to retrieve. I am also most distressed to learn of a problem with wine in any form or fashion! Do you refer to the tavern in Vallaki for inquiry?"
To honor the customs of the People, he accepts salt and drink when offered.

She nods in response to the wine request. She is not a drinker herself but she understands that some consider wine to be essential. So if everybody is suffering a shortage, she is sure her companions would want to assist.
What kind of monstrosity would consume so much wine that the town couldn't get any? She shivers as her mind fills in something bloated and gross.

Crisaryn moves inside as Illmirth does. She accepts whatever is offered when it is given. She is a bit surprised at the interest in the wine, as it seems rather trivial. But perhaps the wine issue is only a symptom of something that is a real issue. "We are most interested in finding Kasimir. So any help with that would be appreciated." Her words are perhaps a bit blunt, but she would like to actually get to the person they are looking for.
I am glad to meet you again, I thought our pathways would cross again, but when. It was a good journey from Barovia Village, shared music made the travel fly past.
Be welcome here, a young girl carried a cider flask around and a young boy the salt cellar, Meet my grandchildren Eric and Ruth, he smiles as he says it his face warm and generous.
We have a problem at the moment, one of the children has strayed out of the camp and is lost, her name is Annabelle, we have search parties looking out for her. If you see her do bring her back. He pauses, as if the lost child is not enough.
You say that you are looking for Kasimir? It is not a good time to go seeking him, his wife Ranelle just died. He is angry in his grief and has taken to drinking himself asleep, she was Vistani, it is time for her pyre, we intend to incinerate her in her Vardo as normal but he won't let us near her. If you do see him speak softly he has need of comfort. His house is built into the due south side of the hill n
Crisaryn watches as Eric and Ruth come around. She pauses to see what others do first, not completely sure of the customs still. She does nod to Ellis as he tells them of Kasimir's location as well as of his present condition. "I am sure we will speak with him softly," she says, though it is unlikely she means herself. "Perhaps we will be able to get him to move on in his grief. We can hope at least. But we do need to speak with him."
She looks around at the others. She is not sure what custom dictates, but she is ready to go, whenever the rest are.
The blue skinned girl nods with Crisaryn. She is glad the politics are in the hands of others. She has always had a difficult time grasping the ...what is the fancy word for when people work things out with words. Diplomacy! Yes, she has always had difficulty with diplomacy because so many people are dishonest.

Turning his attention to Ellis, "When and where was Annabelle last seen?" he asks. He hoped that the party could fulfill their mission, but the thought of a child alone in the land of Barovia fillrd him with dread.

Annabelle been missing since this afternoon. She and two others went sweet chestnut collecting. The others both returned, but they had not seen her since noon. I have half the warriors out looking for her, we hope that she hasn't run into trouble near the lake.
If you could keep an eye out for her as well it would be appreciated. She's 11 years old same as my grandchildren. But for now go and find Kasimir and see if he will help you. Eat with us later, we have a spicy fish stew with enough to share!
Illmirth glanced up to the sun, trying to determine about how much time remained before darkness fell upon the land again.
The bard looks for Fredrik, whistling to him to get his attention. "Come little friend," he said, offering his shoulder. "A girl didnt come home from picking sweet chestnuts. Could you do a quick fly over and see if your sharp eyes can find what the Vistani hunters have not. Please dont go too far, and come back to me often. I know you are brave! But I feel better when you are close by." He offers Fredrik a bit of pork and strokes the soft feathers on his head. "We need to speak with Kasimir, I'll see you shortly."
Illmirth turned to the team and said, "Well then, let's see to it. Fredrik can give us a jump start on finding the child if she doesn't make it back soon."
"It is unfortunate to hear about Annabelle. We will certainly keep an eye out," Crisaryn says as she heads to leave. "Thank you for offer as well, it is very kind and certainly appreciated." She is ready to head off to find Kasimir.
