Listening to the others give their thoughts on evil and good, Crisaryn simply nods. But once Madam Eva returns from her trance, she is grateful. "You have given us some very helpful information. Let's hope that in our search for these items we will get further clarity on how to approach this Stahd. Thank you."
For a moment Madam Eva looked thoughtful. She turned and rummaged through her drawers. She took out some small amulets with a tiny garnet in the centre, Here take one of these each so that the Vistani will know you. The amulet will protect you from the evil eye and mark you as guests of mine to other Elders and Vistani
Magratte! Take our friends back to Stanimir please. She nods at her apprentice whose eyes turned large at the amulets. It was an honour amongst the Vistani for outsiders to be given guest rights at this level. Every fire.
"Yes, and thank you for these."The young blonde priestess says warmly as she gratefully accepts the offered amulet, bowing politely before following Magratte to Stanimir.
Illmirth follows Lorelei's lead, bowing respectfully and accepting the amulet. "You honor us " he says to Madam Eva as he slips the amulet over his head and follows Magratte out of the Vardo.

Back at Stanimir and Annalettas fires, the party notice a lot more people gathering around, all with instruments in their hands. It was obvious that they were planning a party to go with the spicy stew that you can smell.
Vaelar notices that the green and gold Vardo now has a lantern outside, and two black horses are grazing nearby. The Dhampir sisters were here now he just has to introduce himself.
Viktor rode into the camp and slipped off of his white horse, pulling down a dead stag which he hauls to Annaletta. Well met he calls as he leads his horse over to the grazing line.
Illmirth notices a raven eating what appeared to be a ball outside the sisters Vardo, looking closely he can see that it is a large pigs eye, the Raven seemed to be enjoying it.
Vaelar gratefully accepts the honour of the amulet. He spends a few moments looking over the blood-red gem in the centre of it. As he walks near the fire the light dances in the stone's depths. Then he glances up to see the dhampirs' vardo occupied. He slips the amulet over his head.
"I'll be back in a moment," he says quietly to the others before crossing the campground to the vardo. He looks about for its occupants before knocking on the timber of the wall.
Illmirth watches the raven for a moment, checking to see if it looked like Frederick.
Seeing the Vistani assembling with their instruments had the bard grinning from ear to ear. "Greetings, Viktor. Most bards only dream of witnessing such grand displays! Am I not the most fortunate among them to participate?" His eyes sparkled, reflecting the honesty of his words and sincerity of his smile. "We are grateful once again, your hospitality is welcome and well recieved."
Illmirth carefully removed his lute from his pack. He gave it a few gentle plucks, listening with a practiced ear. With a bit of fine tuning he was ready to dive in.

Crisaryn finds herself again thanking Lady Eva. "The amulet is far more of a gift than we could have expected. We are honored." She puts it on immediately. And when she asks Magratte to take them out she follows. Back with Stanimir, she watches as Vaelar heads off. "Stanimir, if there is anything I could do to help with preparations just let me know."
I think that Annaletta will need an extra pair of hands to set up the stag for roasting if you are sure. He gratefully says. There are many clans gathered here, wear that amulet where it can be seen, all of you. They will treat you with courtesy.
Illmirth set up his instrument ready for action, and the raven continued his meal looking at Illmirth with its red eyes. He guessed it was a familiar or maybe one of the sentinel ravens. Then it dropped the other eye into his lap, taking Illmirth by surprise. Eat it says.
Looking closely Illmirth can tell that the Raven isn't Frederik.
Vaelar tapped at the door of the Vardo, he could smell blood and it made him hungry, it has been too long since he'd eaten a full meal.
The door opened to show two women in hunting leathers, they have a wild boar strung up inside, draining its blood into a basin. The rest of the tiny kitchen has black sausages hanging in all different sizes, the blood smell from them was heady.
Ysabet came to the door and took one look at him. Viktor told us about you, he said you'd fought Loup Garou with him and won the people free of the werewolf curse. I would say come in but we're preparing blood sausage it's a tight squeeze. My sister Terna will finish off by herself, I'm Ysabet. I'll sit with you on the steps.
How can we help you? Have you enough to eat or are you as famished as you look? We have enough to share. Blood pies for me and black sausage for Terna, would you like to try? My sister prepares blood sausage from different animals, you should find your favourite. It is a staple food here you will find it in inns and taverns throughout Barovia. It's never on the menu so just ask.
Vaelar lowers himself onto the step next to Ysabet, his dull, grey eyes furtively taking in the twin dhampir and their vardo. He is amazed at how openly they live exactly as they are.
"Where I come from I have to hide myself away," he says out of nowhere.
"What I mean is... they aren't afraid of you? Or curse you for bringing darkness to their doors?"
When Ysabet talks of blood it obviously piques his interest and he nods hungrily.
She listened to him with sympathy. No Vaelar we are blessed with being good hunters whether for food or revenge. We still hunt the undead that murdered Dimitri. You come from beyond the mists, yes? It is easier here, our mother was a Vistani seer, as her children we had clan rights. No-one here will blame you for your differences, nor drive you away with torches and pitchforks. Here you can be yourself.
Now food, you look famished shall we try some blood sausage first? Ysabet knocked on the door and asked for a selection of sausages. They were laid out on a plate, wild boar, venison, lamb and beef. We have enough to trade you when you leave, for now you are a guest at the Vistani fires. Here she says enjoy.
She handed Vaelar the plate with a small eating dagger. Would you prefer sweet water, dragon crush wine or some Vistani spirits with that?
"Just water, thank you," Vaelar replied to the offer of a drink. He is a simple man with simple tastes, unused to the many varied options when among civilised folk.
"I hunt the wild animals around my home. I don't know how to prepare it like you have. I... drink from them raw,"he says tentatively, still uncertain how his dark nature will be received.
With the small dagger in hand, he ravenously starts to eat the sausage, clearly enjoying it after days without real sustenance.
Illmirth smiles at the raven, showing no hint of disgust at the unusual offering. "No thank you, little friend. The stew is more to my liking. Please, enjoy," he says, holding the pig eye in the palm of his hand, extended to the raven.
He watches Vaelar move towards the Vardo, hoping that his quiet new friend finds the answers he seeks. For the moment, he just takes in the sights, sounds, and smells of the colorful camp, offering his assistance to anyone with full hands.

"Oh yes, I would definitely help Annaletta," Crisaryn says. She nods to Lorelei when she too offers to help. "I'm sure the more hands the lighter the work."
Crisaryn and Lorelei walk over to Annaletta, she had a small skinning knife in hand. Just what I need some extra hands. Crisaryn can you pull as I separate the skin, Lorelei can you hold it as still as possible. The twins also have a boar for the spit, they're just taking the blood for blood sausage, then they'll hand it over to us.
It was then secured to a spit and put over the large fire to roast. You notice that the eyes and blood had already been taken.
The Vistani have appeared as if by magic now the instruments were out. Cushions and other makeshift chairs are strewn about, leaving a large space for dancing later. The party makes sure that their amulets from Madam Eva were shown.
Ismark and Ireena sit with Stanimir as he told a story to the children with illusions to make it seem real.
Illmirth keeps an eye on the raven, it may not be Frederik, but it belonged to someone here and it obviously enjoyed the eyes from the animals hunted. It flew to sit in Illmirths lap for a moment then snatched at the eye and flew away to eat in comfort. All mine?
He watches as the Vistani musicians tune up. They smile and gesture to him to come and join them. Wineskins in their hands.
