Vaelar tears his attention from the cursed child at the inn door. As Crisaryn rightly said, the loup Garou is their target and it must be killed.
He readies his blades and darts into the bushes, ready to face the monstrous horror. He moves too quickly and comes upon the beast sooner than he expected. He strikes out but his momentum carries his arm past the garou's body completely. Vaelar swivels on his foot and regains his stance, flicking out with his scimitar. He manages to find a gap in the garou's armour and cuts along its side. Before the blade leaves the garou's flesh, Vaelar draws on the power of his curse. His own dark veins pulse and his eyes glow momentarily with a crimson hue. Darkness flows down his blade into the garou.
Bonus Action: Move Hunter's Mark to the loup garou. Action: Shortsword attack: 7 (natural 1). Scimitar attack: 19. Damage: 5 slashing + 4 force. Wrath of the Wild is also still active, so when the garou starts its turn within 10ft of Vaelar it needs a Wis save vs 13 or it can take only an Action or a Bonus Action.
The children whimper then fall to the ground. As they transform back again in the sunlight their bodies covered in goop. They huddle together, frightened of the noises. The little girl comes over to take the toddlers in her arms.
Vaelar slashes with his scimitar the blade finding a gap in the Loup Garous side, blood flows down his armour. His short sword slipped on the armour and gets caught between plates, he has to joggle it to free it back into his hand.
It is with immense relief the young lathanderite with the blonde braided hair watches the children transform back. "Open the door and take care of your young ones, but quickly before more werewolves arrive." She calls out to the people back at the inn. "Go, hurry, get to your parents?" She calls out to the children as she holds back her tears, motioning for them to hurry over to the inn. She then grits her teeth, ready to deal with the foul and insidious Loup du Mal.
One of the guards call out. We were told to let no-one in, that includes the children, we can not risk them turning again! The door was locked from the inside. You can hear a womans voice raised in anger against the guard.
No matter, Lorelei needed to help confront the Loup Garou. She'd find the children again later.
With an uncommon scowl on his face, Illmirth stalked towards the melee. Pausing just beyond the reach of the Loup Garou, he reached back over his shoulder, feeling the neck of his lute. As his fingers wrapped around his beloved instrument he called to the beast, "Hey, ass hole, have you heard the one about the rabid mutt that was cut down in Daggerford?"

The Loup Garou throws back it's head and lets forth a mewling howl that kept repeating, he was laughing, then he fell to the floor and shook as he laughed.
The old knight moves with no small breadth of hesitancy. He could not face children, nor could he leave them to cause trouble. Perhaps, then, it was a blessing that the priestess of the party frees him of such a decision in the key moment. Even as the wolf children return to their human guises, the old man moves forth in a newfound determination. Undeath is easy, slay that which rises and maintain the sanctity of life. Curses of the living were far and beyond crueler. He was not use to such dilemmas of faith.
Pressing forth, the light of his blade illuminates the scene before him. ((How far away is he? Able to close the distance?))
Newfound vigor drives the old warrior forward, his blade flashing bright as barrels into the fray! His prayer rises to crescendo as he swings, the light almost ringing with swing of his blade, a soft hum filling the air. As soon as his weapon cleaves at the beast, a radiant light traces along the beasts' flesh

[BA: Divine Smite: 6 radiant damage, for a total of 16]
"...Mayest our Lord shine His Light upon thee!" spits the paladin, between gritted teeth. Though even he can see there's no guarantee in the success of his strike. This is a powerful monster.
Murdocks strike makes the Loup Garou scream whilst it laughed like hiccups. his strike hitting the side and into the body by the gap in the armour. Blood flowed but you had not hit a vein.
(The Loup Garou fails the wisdom check and remains prone. Anyone fighting him in the prone position has advantage)
Seeing the circle of slashing silver blades forming a perimeter around the laughing abomination, Illmirth holds back. He reaches up to the sky, but hesitates. He knows that the creature could break free of his spell if he hurt it. No sense giving it a chance for the small amount of damage he could do, this was a task for those more skilled in shelling out massive injuries. He held off on the spell and moved to find an opening in the circle. He focused to keep the enchantment going and gripped his newly silvered dagger, watching, waiting...

Ranald hits out with his warhammer smashing into the loup garous face for 26 damage
The loup garou spits out blood and then falls to the floor. He's dead, but not above regenerating if they leave the body like this. Khalid bends over and severs the loup garous head. It returned to a human shape, it's head strangely peaceful.
Around you you hear the sound of some people in the woods, and then naked men and women appear, the curse has been lifted.
With the end of the beast, brought forth by spell and silver, Murdock cleans his bloodied blade. Sheathing it after, he approaches the corpse and kneels across of its severed stump. The paladin is himself both a warrior and a once cloistered follower of the Dawn. So it is in the pallor of death, he offers even the felled foe a moment of grace and whispers a small funerary rite.
"Bringer of the Dawn, I beseech thee shine Thy radiant light upon this piteous child, whose wretched life hath come to term."
"In the dawn of each new day, Thou hath reminded us that from darkness, light emergeth; that from death, life reborn."
"Guide this misguided soul to a place of serenity - may Thine grace shine upon its journey to the hereafter, where pain and sorrow wrough are but a memory distant."
"For in Thy Dawn, beauty reigns, and the way is clear."
Crisaryn had gone with the others, staying back a bit, but had hardly had a chance to lift her hand before the accursed werewolf had been felled. Seeing the naked men and women starting to appear, she looks to the Harpers. "Is that really it? All these people are fine now?" She eyes them skeptically, suspicious when they had moments before been affected.
Illmirth removes his cloak and gives it to the nearest child.
Turning back to the inn he calls on his innate drow magic to conjure four glowing balls of light, each positioned in front of a window. He is careful to place them no more than 20 feet apart. He calls to the inn in a very loud voice, "Open the door. Bring clothing, blankets, towels, whatever you have!"
He moves to offer aid to any of the saved towns folk, looking for any that may be injured.

Lorelei Dawnwarden
The young lathanderite with the blonde braided hair had barely turned to face the Loup Garou before her companions had swiftly defeated it. She is briefly torn between joining the old paladin in prayer and helping the children but quickly decides to go with the latter, trying to gather up all the young ones, sharing more of Lathanders light to heal any wounds and hoping to see them to the inn where they could get warmth, and something to eat and drink.
"It is over, the Loup Garou is dead and the lycanthrope curse have been lifted, you can open the doors and take care of the innocent children now." She calls out to those inside the inn with firm sincerity.
Blood runs down the length of Vaelar's silvered blades. He stands deathly still as his eyes are drawn to the enticing crimson rivulets. He desperately fights the urge to bring his sword to his mouth and taste it.
Instead he grunts and shakes his head to dislodge the temptation. He quickly drops to the ground and begins to wipe the blood off on the grass, moistened by the night's thick fog. Only when his blades are clean again does he stand and slide them into the cross sheath on his back. He keeps his eyes far away from the werewolf's corpse and the blood pooling around it.
There are no prayers to the light nor jubilance for their salvation. He is simply satisfied by a successful hunt.
"Thank your smith for the silver," is all he says.
Ranald cleaned his warhammer with his shirt, then nodded at Vaelar, it looks like it was well worthit. Have you taken any damage? The claws are as dangerous as their bite.
