The Tiefling and the Elf look at each other, than sheepishly at Casmenos. "Yes, sir. whatever you say, sir." They start emptying their pockets as they talk. "Now, please, sir, can you help us out of here?"
The half-orc pauses in his song briefly to get sick in the corner. Cassyt turns up her nose a bit.
After a few tries, Casmenos is able to secure the hook on the grate. The elf and the tiefling are near tears in gratitude; they clearly want no more part of these catacombs, and just want to put this behind them as quickly and as quietly as they can. The half-orc, however, is neither quiet nor in any shape to climb; you can all easily discern there is no way we can ascend on his own, nor are his slight (and malnourished) companions up to the task of moving him.
"What a waste of life." Casmenos reluctantly uses 5 charges of Lay on Hands (to cure disease/poison) to get rid of the Half Orc's drunkenness. "If we didn't have undead to clean out, I would make you all pay dearly for the sacrilege you have wrought to these crypts. In fact, I still might, if I find any of you later."
The half-orc, previously so much dead weight, snaps to full alertness as Casmenos' cleansing touch jolts through him. He pats down his pockets, surprised to find them empty, but catches himself before going to fill them again. Without a word, he nods to the party and begins to climb up the rope to daylight and freedom from these catacombs.
Cassyt walks up besides Casmenos and says, thoughtfully,"Doomguide Glandon is not going to be pleased about this. About them being here, or about us helping them get clear away."
Well, we don't really have the means to restrain them, nor can we be sure we could protect them against the undead if we rendered them helpless, Marrow points out. I believe this is the best option, or the least bad, at any rate. I doubt they'll return, and perhaps they will learn something from this.
Cassyt regards the halfliing thoughtfully. "Well...they did appear young, and appropriately scared by the experience. And nothing was taken. Perhaps they'll learn from this, and the Doomguide does not need to know..."
Above you, the rope and grappling hook disappear as the three pull it up after themselves. With no other entrances or exits, those of you who had gone in after the three rejoin the others in the room with the statue, where the stairs had collapses.
There are no other exits from the small area in which the three had barricaded themselves, or the 20x20 foot area with the grate open to the sky. Apologies for the lack of maps, but the module itself has erroneous maps for this area, and I have not had time to make my own. The door to the SE was where you had previously gone, leaving the corridor to the east and climbing back up the only other ways out of the room.
Kelvin has been milling about by the statue of Jergal, waiting for the others. He will take up a rear position if the party moves towards the corridor to the east.

Bastian mumbles something about "sightseeing dabblers" after the thieves ascend. He takes a look at the eastern corridor, trying to ignore the fresh piles of purloined grave goods in the small room behind him.
The group heads to the east, pausing at an intersection. To the north you can make out an obelisk in what appears to be an opening of the corridor into the room. To the east, the corridor takes a few steps further down, and takes a turn.

Are the stairs up usable? Or did they collapse entirely?
Casmenos looks at the three, and the Half-Orc vomit. "Lets get that grappling hook set so they can climb out the way they came in."
The stairs are unusable, though the wall down which some climbed has ample footholds.
Tumal looks unsure, but offers the grappling hook and rope to Casmenos.
Casmenos will lob the grappling hook to allow the thieves to climb out.

Marrow, please give me a persuasion check.

Casmenos will move to the East corridor.

Casmenos will move up to the room with the obelisk (north) and motion to the others, "Make sure everything in here is as it should be?"
