Rachus, this is not your finest performance, something about these spirits has you rattled and your timing falters. It is enough however, combined with the effects of the holy water to distract these restless spirits. They do not dissipate as you had hoped, but they do begin to lose focus on the party and to drift away to continue their wandering through the room.
Beyond them now you all see a single ghost has appeared standing in the archway with its back to the party. The spirits are shifting away and you can probably slip through to reach it should you wish.
"That is her," whispers Jemile, "Pelgara Brighteye the founder of this temple. Her shade must be calmed if the others are to rest once more."
Skritch looks to the most charming members of the group, in the hope they will be able to calm the dispirited spirit. That means Vakas and Rachus. Certainly not him.
Skritch can't even get the name of a common instrument right. The flute is the long blowy one. The lute must be the stringed one. No wonder that other bard he once ran into in the woods that one time acted all weird when Skritch told him he'd been watching and had admired how the bard stroked his flute.
The things a young Ekorre has to file away as another lesson learnt on the prime material...
"Shh, shh, Sunhill," he mindsoothes to his beloved familiar, "It's all going to be alright. Possibly."
He watches what comes next.
And he telepaths to Vakas and Rachus, "I suggest asking her what, er, what we can do to help her. I suggest."
Vakas looks to the others and gives a slight shrug, taking out another vial of holy water and holding it in his left hand, the third one he packs away into his backpack. He holds his hand on his dagger hit and starts to calmly walk forward, indicating to the others that they should follow. “Let’s find out what is going on.” He walks to about 10 feet away from the ghost and says “Pelagara, we are here. My name is Vakas. How can I help you? How can I bring peace to these restless souls?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Skritch trots up to one side and a bit behind Vakas, not seeking to intrude. He has an action readied to cast Fire bolt if things go south. And by "south", Skritch is thinking if they are attacked.
Dealuri sticks near Thanadol. Her previous commanders never entrusted her to conduct negotiations, preferring to keep her further back and with a weapon at the ready. She was comfortable in this role and keeps her hand crossbow Ready in case something attacks but pointing down so she doesn’t start anything by accident.
OOC: It wont always be an immediate pass fail with these sorts of interactions so we will play it like this with a slightly higher DC :)
Vakas your words seem lost on the spirit as she stares fixedly at her resting place. Thanadol you see he is not getting through and step forward to help. You have observed that the spirit is distressed and that her distress is causing the other spirits here to become restless. Pelgara seems absorbed by the sight of her tomb. You lay a hand on the shoulder of Vakas and whisper some sound advice.
Vakas retake your roll as you take a deep breath and try to get through once more.
Vakas calms his breathing, thinking through what he can say…. “Please, we are here to help you, what can we do to help, there must be something that we can do…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
To augment Vakas' entreaty, if he can, Skritch will use Druidcraft to create a respectful wreath of funereal flowers to rest at the base of the sarcophagus/tomb (OOC: If I am understanding the scenario correctly).
Rachus performance was rather lacking though to help Vakas he offers them Bardic Inspiration (1d6) to add to their roll. "Please let this work" he whispers to himself.
Dealuri tries to respect the delicate dance going on by concentrating on her breathing. In through the nose and out through the mouth. Or is it the other way around. She does five the first ways and coughs loudly when switching to the second way. She shakes her head and mouths, Sorry. Her commanders had always said she had a hard time behaving.
"Demons and darkness? How do we defeat it? Tell us what to do... we will help. We have faced much danger thus far, a dragon... we can go even further, we just have to know how."
Vakas pleads with the shade, hoping to hear more and gain knowledge.

Pelgara stares at you Vakas her eyes blazing with a dread light. It is as if she is studying your very soul.
"You are on the path," she whispers, "I see your deeds and I would have your oath. You will travel to the south, and you will stop this foul summoning. Swear it."
As the ghost speaks you realise she is speaking of the quest you are already on. The foul machinations of the Kobolds have disturbed this ancient spirit and she senses the devastation they will bring if they succeed in opening a gate to the demon world.
She looks at each of the party in turn, "All of you swear this thing and I will give what aid I may."

Vakas make a persuasion roll as you make the attempt to get through to Pelgara .

He’s not sure how to speak to this ghost. He looks behind him at the others for help.

Vakas (with a 17, glad I waited lol) the spirit slowly turns to face you.
"Help?" the whispered voice of Pelgara comes as if from a great distance, "Yes.... help is required. There issssss great danger."
"What danger troubles your rest?" Jemile asks.
"Danger..." the spirit repeats and is silent for a moment. "Demons and darkness. I feel the power rising and it brings doom to us all."
