Vakas (with a 13) you make your way across the room while the ogre sleeps soundly. Any noise to make is smothered by its horrendous snoring. Everyone waits with baited breath as (with a 19) you investigate the door finding it to be neither locked nor trapped.
Opening the door, you peer into the room beyond and see a large square chamber filled with armour and weapons. It is a dead man’s treasury. Heaps of steel lie scattered across the floor, a disordered arsenal plundered from countless hapless slaves. You see dented helms with visors beaten into snarling grimaces. There are breastplates cracked and battered, gauntlets of mismatched plate and mail, and shields of splintered wood and peeling leather. Piled amongst them are weapons; heavy longswords of the northern kingdoms, cruel-looking axes from the dwarven forges, and even a knight’s lance, its point sharp and glistening in the dim light. The tools of men, dwarves and elves all of them, far too large and fine for the wretched kobolds.
To the far left, a slab of black iron is set into the rock, a door stronger and grimmer than any you have seen in this gods-forsaken pit so far. A heavy bar, thick as a man’s arm, has been thrown across it on this side, sealing it fast. A way out, perhaps. Or a way into something worse?
Through it all, the wet, guttural sound of snoring rolls through the chamber behind you.
Using message with Vakas and then telepathy with the gathered group, Skritch relays what he has found.
Then he brainsays, "This ogre is part of the problem we've been hired to solve. Its collected treasure shouts its culpability. Should we not prevent it making further transgressions?
"To send more plainly, should we not, er, end it?"
Vakas sends a message to Skritch and then everyone else, "I think we've found a good, solid resting place if we can get rid of that sleeping Ogre. I have an idea... I'll attack with my bow then hide, you guys stay behind the closed door on the far end. I've heard tales that these dolts are so stupid, he might not figure it out for 10 or 15 seconds, I'll keep peppering him, when you hear him roar and charge me, come running in. Otherwise he'll pulverize me. Okay?"
If he receives a reply in the affirmative, he'll take out his short bow and pull an arrow out, taking dead aim at the head of the sleeping ogre and take a shot, then rapidly move behind cover, behind the door, and listen.
Sneak attack : Shortbow : 19 to hit, for 8 points of piercing damage and 2 points of electrical damage. Also, 3 points of sneak attack damage. 13 total hp of damage.
Bonus action : Hide, so that he is not visible from the doorway. Stealth : 25 to hide, after the attack.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(OOC: Feels a bit weird to agree in game to the plan after seeing that all the rolls are good...)
However, based on an... inkling that it's all going to go according to plan, Skritch sends (that's if others agree), "Have at it Vakas!"and triggers his Shillelagh, again (only last a minute each time).
(OOC: So that's one yes. Don't know what everyone else is thinking...)
Vakas your arrow strikes true, lodging itself in the Ogres thick skull. It roars with sudden shock and agony as the electrical energy from your ring fries its already addled brain. You leap behind a stack of empty crates, hiding yourself in the shadows, as the huge creature lumbers to its feet. It plucks the arrow from its head roaring with pain and looks down with confusion at the arrow in its hand.
OOC: The ogre has not seen you Vakas and the rest of you remain hidden behind the door... (Dongapko1 sits on a stool in the far in the corner musing over the relative advantages of a traditional OSR party, who is he? We do not know... perhaps we can feed him to the ogre... but alas the ogre does not seem to see him. Life it filled with such strange occurrences).
Skritch is ready to wade in as soon as Vakas makes an attack that he can't then hide from. He Messages Vakas, "Vee, you're the only one with eyes on the, er, sitch. Just let us know when to wade in. We're all ready..."
Guess we're attacking... Thanadol brings a burst of fire into his hand and sends it sailing at the Ogre 23 to hit, 7 fire damage. Then he makes sure he is a safe distance from it.
Dealuri would gladly accept the plan to pepper the sleeping ogre with arrows and would take the first opportunity to add her arrow to the mix (attack nat 20, crit damage 11)
Thanadol you fire through the doorway and hit the ogre square in the back. It staggered and spins to face the now open door, just as you retreat.
Dealuri the ogre begins to surge forward toward the door as you loose your arrow. It slams into its shoulder causing it to stagger for a moment before plucking the arrow free and advancing once more.
Dealuri, Rachus, Thanadol and Skritch make a DEX saving throw (DC 12) as the ogre smashes its club into the door frame and send the splintered ruin of the door hurtling into the passage in which you stand. (On a failure take 6 damage)
Rachus your spell strikes the ogres stomach, causing it to look down in pain and confusion as the radiant light sizzles away into its flesh.
Skritch you slam the Shillelagh down on the ogres foot causing it to dance backward in pain and then stumble back further as the booming blade spell takes effect. The ogre glares at the shattered doorway and roars in challenge. Seeing that it can not reach any of you with its club it grunts in frustration and lumbers out of sight toward the armoury.
OOC: Thanadol and Rachus, from your safe distance you would need to use your full movement to get into the room and see the ogre on your next turn. Dealuri be sure to take the DEX check mentioned above before acting again.
Vakas hears what happens to the door, then the lumbering footfalls headed back his way. He pops around the corner and takes a shot with an arrow at the Ogre. Right afterwards, he ducks back into the armory and attempts to hide behind some crates again.
Short bow : 12 to hit, for 5 points of piercing damage, 1 point of electrical damage, and 6 points of sneak attack damage.
Bonus action : Hide. Stealth : 21

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
But he shouldn't take for granted, he thinks, that everybody is aware of this.
So, more generally, he telepaths, "Er, just a quick fyi* one and all, if you see a panther - and especially if its fighting the same enemies you're fighting - then it's probably your humble servant Skritch at your, er, service..."
(FYI, when Skrtich says 'fyi' it's not an acronym, it's a one syllable word - which is how they say it on his home plane - that coincidentally means the same thing. So, phonetically, it's like "phy-ii")
Skritch Messages Thanadol, "Well, I think Vakas is halfway across the room so, let's, er, see how that goes..."
