Lucan speaks as loudly as need to get any nearby to hear him. "I'm not very strong Kraken, if you have the strength and a rope you can assist Samir and Salty. I can secure the camel behind the rocks. I have rope if you need it on my backpack."
Lucan leads the camel and if needed uses the help of Kraken but is concerned about the other two if no one assists them.

"Ye durn'd son o' a sand flee 'n a tree legged mutt," Salty screamed at the jumbo sand dog in the center. Swinging his shield around a few times he nods in approval as the rope looped a few times around his arm. He drew his blade as his feet dug into the sand. With a quick yell back to Krakan he asked, "I'm fer needin ye tu turn off da lights, Big Man!"
Having no real idea how Krakan does that, or if he can even do it twice in a day, he just trusted in Valkur's might and guidance, along with his companions to find a way to defeat this thing.
"Well den, ye oversized dirt dog, I'm fer see'n what ye got!" Without further delay the orc of the ocean brought his righteous fury to bear. Calling out to Valkur the blue haired paladin lashed out at the big sand dog.

Is someone we're not seeing calling these things to attack us? This all seems coincidental and a bit much or we just have really really bad luck. If someone is using magic they'd have to be pretty close by. If any of you have mentioned this, I just didn't hear it."

Krakan moves 5 feet to the west, saying out loud over the din of the swirling sand, "Right! Lights are going out, but I'm reeling this Samir Sandfish in!" He uses his second focus point to cast darkness (he can cast it up to 60 feet away) at a point over the eye of the thing, but in between it and them, to put the monster in the darkness, but keep everyone else to the northeast in the light. With any remaining action/movement, he grabs hold of the rope and starts to pull, trying to reel in the dusty cleric and if successful, he will back up with the rope in hand toward the rocks, to the northeast.
(Krakan you pull on the rope only to feel no weight on the other end as it is Salty in the swirling sand. Samir is near you by the rocks. The rope is near Salty, but he did not tie to himself. You can do something else on this turn)
***OoC: Salty looped the rope around his arm in the prior post. Not a knot (your welcome for the word play) but he should still have it in case things go bad.***

If Krakan has any movement / action left, he looks for the rope and throws it to Salty, either this or next round.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Salty you make it to Samir and drag him out of the sucking sand only to have 50ft of rope tossed at your feet.
I will bot Samir
He quickly ties a rope around himself
Lucan and Krakan guide the frightened camel to the rocks for safety.

Then Salty you see darkness descend around you and a sharp tug on the rope. Do you resist or allow yourself to be pulled out?
