Samir moves forward to the hunk of flesh. The wind shifts a bit and he gets a big wiff of the smell. He doesn't get much closer to the hunk to see anything notable. (Investigation Check = 8+2=10).
(Rolling constitution to try and not vomit from the bad smell = 1+2 =3)
Samir steps back, holding his hand over his nose and mouth, trying not to hurl his stomach up. He quickly finds a place away and lets loose, vomiting on the sand. "Hurrrgurrlrurrucurh!!!!"
Salty watches Samir turn an odd shade of green and dash towards the sand. He shakes his head softly with a chuckle. This thing has nothing on a barrel of fish gone bad. He looks to Krakan and Lucan, "Ain't ne'r seen'd a worm o' purple, can't be fer say'n what's what."

Krakan walks up and looks at the “evidence” of the purple worm, examining it, looking for evidence, wounds, manner of death. “Hmmm, is this really what happened, or something else? Something seems strange…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Moving closer to the hunk of purple flesh, Salty gives it a closer look. He may not know where it came from, but he could still examine it for more clues.

Salty looks at the wounds with a puzzled expression. "Beggin' yer patdonin', which o' yer blades was fer doin' the cuttin'? Reckon is good fer knowin' should we see one on yon road."

Krakan nods as he listens, something... but he can't quite put his finger on it. "You must be... a mighty warrior then! Tell us, anything else you faced out there? Or any other signs of an oasis near here, a farm perhaps, a spice farm?" Krakan tries to remember what he was told, directions, figuring their location and where there should be headed.

Raising an eyebrow, Salty glanced to his companions. He hoped his quizzical (not that Salty knows that word) look conveyed his skepticism.
Moving in just a bit closer to the woman, Salty says in a low voice, "I'm fer knowin' da cut o' many cuttin' sticks. Yer worm ain't got kill't by what yer claim'n. What er ye about?"
Salty stops short of calling her out in the public forum, but he holds her eyes in a manner more curious than threatening.

Lucan says privately to just the team, "The lady is holding something back. Likely not telling the whole story. It does sound a bit fantastic."
Lucan does some investigating while he's right there.

Krakan knows the hunk of flesh came from a worm of some kind.
Salty looks over the wounds on the hunk of flesh and vaguely thinks the wound does not make sense for a human hunter.

After hurling out his inside, Samir is tired and finds a nice spot to sit down and rest.
The female hunter looks turns to Salty "I used my spear to fell the worm and then my axe to hack off the chunk of flesh"
To Salty - She is speaking in half truths. Using the spear to kill the worm is a lie. Though using the axe seems true.
