“One final question, does the history of the story have any information on how this deal was done with the dark entity? Was it a ritual, bargain, Oath, sacrifice?” Andres sole intent is now listening for the answer to the question, everything around him goes dark as he listens to Eva’s response.
"I dont know much more then ive told you," and she pulls out a deck of cards, "If you truly wish to break this curse you will need help, perhaps the fates can guide you with a reading. "
She draws a card, "This card tells of History. Knowledge of the ancient will help you understand your enemy" and she places down the Bishop card, "What you seek lies buried in treasure, beyond a set of amber doors."
"This card tells of a powerful force for good and protection" and she places down the Abjurer card, "I see a fallen house guarded by a stone dragon, look to its highest peak."
She draws a third card, "This card tells of power and strength, a weapon of light." And she places the Wizard card. "Look for a wizard's tower on a lake, let the wizard's name guide you.
"The forth card sheds light on one who can guide you." She places down the Ghost card, "I see a fallen knight of a fallen order. He lingers in a dead dragons lair."
"Strahd is a creature of darkness, whose powers are beyond mortality. This final card will lead you to him" and she places the Donjon card. "He lurks in a hall of bones, in the depths of his castle."

After hearing the reading Alexander can only wonder why the fates couldn't be a little bit clearer but at least it was something to start with. "All of this is interesting but it's not all together clear. It would be helpful if we knew someone who knew the area better. They might possibly recognize something from this reading and be able to point us in the right direction."

“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
"Continue on down the road that got you here. You'll soon come to the village of Barovia. There are many there who can answer some questions. But be warned. Some are agents of Strahd, so be careful who you divulge your plans to."
"Well lady, my pardons, Miss Ava, the only plans we have are gettin out of this place as fast as possible." Brom's anxiety actually lessens when he hears there may be a chance, no matter how small to get back to his land. He is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Vaalu had been distracted up until Andres stormed out. She had more than plenty to think about, and for good reason. And not all of it had to do with the reading alone. However, once it seems her other companions have begun to exit the tent, she follows suit after bowing respectfully and saying something in Sylvan. Though what was a prayer to her ears would only sound like mix of bird whistles and tree groaning in the wind. If she sees Alexander and Andres talking, Vaalu will just nod in trust the human had things covered for now.
In the meantime, she asks to the remainder, "Sooo... Am I the only one worried that we might have to deal with ghost? Also, think they'd mind if we ask for more wine and stuff before?"

Andres looks at Alex and brings him over to the side, hopefully out of earshot of the others. You can take this, and presents to him his old holy symbol of Torm; before he took an oath of vengeance. This is a bad place, she even said it’s cursed and you saw what it did to my magic... corruption.
But didn’t that story sound familiar to you? Father killed, He swears to get revenge and then makes a bargain.... an OATH for the power to do so. Is that the next step for you? What if this place draws you in and corrupts you just like this Strahd character? You know I will support you throughout but I’m worried, what if you’re the reason we are here in the first place?
Brom replies to Vaalu outside the tent "Lass... me thinks we will be lucky if all we have to deal with be ghosts... And we will be needin alota wine, a whole lota wine." Brom looks Vaalu in the eyes to let her know is he worried too. Then he lowers his head and walks away, trying to make sense out of the reading and the nightmare he seems to have awoken in.

Alexander's hand hovers over his old holy symbol of Torm, one he had received from his father before he went off to become a paladin initiate. It felt so long ago those days and Alexander had thought he had lost it. The last time he had seen it was the day he had come home to the news that his whole family was dead. Taking his hand, Alexander closes Andres hand around the symbol of Torm.
"You keep it, you need it more then me now. It's a symbol of my old life, one that I swore to keep others from experiencing themselves. Don't worry about me, my Oath to Hoar is one of vengeance against the evils of this world and the ones who took my family from me. This Strahd sounds like a petty prince only concerned with power. Unlike him my oath wasn't just for myself, but also for the many others who have felt the same. Come now Andres cheer up. How about you play me that song my sister Isabell used to love."
