Whilst Andres uses his mage hand Ny will look over very interested at how the hand looks. "Ohh! I've never seen it look like that before Andres, is that a different incantation?"
Alexander Wenzel Eusebius Beaumont Lvl 3 | Human | Paladin/Oath of Vengeance
Haveing seen Andres use his mage hand multiple times before, Alexander knows it's general appearance. Hearing Ny exclaim that it somehow looks different makes him turn around to get a good look at it. Usually it appears as just a spectral copy of Andres' own hand, now it appears to be quite skeletal and all together pleasing to look at. "Ander, it would appear the fog is affecting your magic. I believe that you may want to bring your drum back, you don't want to lose it in the fog."

“No... I haven’t seen this happen before. I have a bad feeling about this.” with trembling hands Andres pulls back his drum and inspects his mage hand briefly before dispelling it. “ let’s just get out of here and Andresbtugs on the cuff of Alexander pointing to Vaalu starting to leave.

Knowing nothing better to do Alexander follows Vaalu, keeping alert as they walk through the fog. "I agree Andres, we must leave this foul area. Let's follow Vaalu but stay alert for any change in the fog and if you notice any changes in your magic, inform me as soon as possible."

Faron follows Vaalu looking and listening for signs of danger. Swift on foot he occasionally falls back and takes his time inspecting the local fauna and flora trying to determining where they might be before catching up to the group again. Othertimes he is slightly ahead of the group continuing his search for signs of human passing or trails.
*I'm assuming you're all following Vaalu unless you tell me otherwise.
You all travel for a while keeping on guard and looking around for anything of interest. After an hour or two you come across a well worn road. Black pools of water stand like dark mirrors in and around this muddy roadway. Giant trees loom on both sides of the road, their branches clawing at the mist.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vaalu lets out a barking laugh and pumps her fist in the air. "Ha! It was only matter of time." She claps her hands together, and starts rubbing them together. "Okay, okay, okay! Now where are they."She kneels down to start examining the road for any signs of tracks leading in one direction or another. "What you think, Faron? Think town fairly close?"She asks nonchalantly.
Vaalu - You examine the road, seeing foot prints, hoof prints and wagon wheel marks heading in both directions. Examining them closely you can see that the freshest ones seem to head to your left. As if a small caravan had come through here recently. The woods get thicker on both sides of the road in that direction.
Vaalu passes along the information, and would actually look to the others. For now. In the meantime, she will keep an eye and ear out for the off chance of another caravan showed up on the road.

Faron also kneels down in quite solitude examining the road. He traces his fingers along the prints, measures the depth of the tracks in the ground. He feels the soil for its density trying to discern further information.
Is there a way to tell:
How many people?
What race (humanoid large/small)?
Did they walk on naked feet, use normal boots or where they heavily armored?
What animals did they use?
Where the wagons heavily loaded?
Then he gets back up, addressing Vaalu:"At this point it's anyones guess, mellon. Which way is shorter can't be discerned from just one point of data as they will be coming from civilisation and heading towards it. I'd suggest we follow the caravan, though. Catching them might be the fastest way to get any answers and if we can't we'll at least reach their destination. So let us make haste"

"At this point any information will be helpful. At this point it might be a good idea to establish a marching order. Roads maybe helpful in getting to place to place but they also hold many dangers. We will need to be watchful of ambushes along the roadside and other dangers." Pulling out his Goggles of Night he readies them in case it gets dark before they get where they are going.

Sir Alexander should be up in the front! He is the bravest after all. Any beast that comes out... he will make short work of it no doubt.” Andres boasts aloud while hurriedly making sure he has all his belongings, standing behind Alex.
Vaalu has been scratching her head ever since Faron called her Mellon. But, after hearing Andres boast, she snaps out of it, lets out husky chuckle, and shakes her head. "The bravest? Hah! I beg to differ!"She grins at Andres, and folds her arms beneath her chest. "But if sir Alex-y wants to walk beside me in front. I see no problem in this. Road is plenty big enough." Vaalu spins on her heel on that point, and again start leading the march, leaving the others to catch up at their own pace.

Brom follows the group silently. Upon waking he is a very uneasy about things not looking the same as it did before. He takes up the rear so he can protect the group. He keeps a watchful eye out as he has escorted many caravans and groups along roads like this that could be full of highwaymen. Does it sound like one person playing or multiple people playing?
“Shshshshhhhhh, do you hear that? There is music in the air?!” Andres points out the music to the rest of the group while taking out his viol to match the tune. “Should we check it out Sir Alexander?”
