Taking Andres advice, Alexander decides to walk over to where Faron and the stranger are talking and sits down. "Faron, I see that you have met someone. Has the search for information become fruitful. I tried getting some out of the bartender but he has not been very helpful."

“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
Vaalu more than eagerly meets newly learned gesture with one of her own. But at the discordant note from the Bard she winces and nearly crushes the container. She shakes her head and looks disapprovingly at Andres. "Oi vey."She mutters with a smile. "... I don't know about you, Brom. But I at least am looking forward to this 'highest peak' leg of journey. Its been long time since..."Vaalu expression darkens for a second before she briskly shakes her head. "since I got to climb, and feel real chill for once."

Reaching out his hand, Alexander will shake Ismark's hand. "Greeting Ismark, my name is Alexander Wenzel Eusebius Beaumont, Alex will do in a pinch. I hear your sister is having problems with Strahd. Is there anything you can tell me about him, we maybe able to help you and your sister. We have heard talls about him and we want to hear what you know about him." While sipping his wine, Alexander will keep a close eye on Ismark and try to evaluate if they should trust him.

"That devil Strahd is a curse placed on this land. He sits up in that castle by himself, not a soul that I know of has been permitted to enter as long as I've lived. I've heard some talk that he is no longer even human, that he has become some sort of foul undead creature." he looks around the tavern suspiciously, and leans in closer and whispers,"He has come for my sister on more then one occasion, he wants her for his bride. I told her I could take her to Vallaki, I've heard its safer there. But she wont go with me, she is too scared to leave the house."
Nylin has been listening the whole time to the conversations with Ismark, concentrating on whenever he spoke about Strahd.
Moving round everyones legs and walking up to Ismark with a concerned face. "Is he really a strong enough presence to make a problem for your sister? What about hired guards to get your sister moved to a safe place?"
"Strahd is the ruler of the whole of Barovia, how would one know if anyone I hired were an agent of his or not?" He eyes the group of you, "But you lot aren't from these parts, are you?"
At this point in time, Andres being willing to let the more experienced adventurers take the lead in talking to this stranger comes sliding into the booth and into the conversation; unable to hide his emotion in the matter.
“No we are not... we heard that travelers that wind up here get stuck with no way out! We desperately need to get out of this land. We are not supposed to be here. There must be something we can do to get out.” He says in a barely hushed voice
Andres leans in with determination in his eyes only trying to hide the fear dwelling inside him.
”You have my word, we will do anything we can to help. You’re in luck... Alexander Wenzel Eusebius Beaumont, the eradicator of evil, the champion of the just, the sultan sword that stands against the darkness of the world is here to save your sister.”
Andres pats Alex on the back hoping for his companion to give him a sign of hope.
Leaving Brom to his silence, a buzzed Vaalu relaxes back in her seat and goes back to keeping a proper eye on the group. "Looks like things are going well over there." She comments. Then, She turns to the other occupants next and gives them another once over. If the Vastani woman from earlier is still there, she just lets her eyes linger on the woman for now.

Thinking for a moment, Alexander looks about the room and doesn't like the openness of it. Wanting to discuss this business somewhere a little more private he loops at Ismark and says, "Before we continue this discussion might I suggest that we go somewhere a little more private. It maybe a good idea to discuss this together with your sister as she will be the one we are protecting."

Vaalu goes from smiling back lazily at the woman to squinting at Brom. "It feels... Why does it feel as if you are saying more than letting on?" She asks, sounding genuinely confused and innocent. But at Andres request, the goliath woman empties out the last drop of wine down her gullet, nearly slams down the cup, and then with a satisfied "Ahh! Okay! I'm ready." she gets up to follow the bard out the door.

"Greetings friend. My apologies, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Ismark.' and he offers his hand out for either of you to shake.
