Something important is obviously going on here, but why would goblins make all of this?” While he tries to stealthily enter the room.

Oswald moves into the room with Opal, skirting around the edge of the room and moving along the wall towards the bonfire, maintaining a clear line of sight between him and whatever is whimpering.
The markings on the wall are in Draconic; those of you that can read it understand it's meaning as "Here there be dragons."
Oswald is the very notion of stealth; Blaze is pretty stealthy, while Opal isn't particularly quiet as she walks, but not too noisy either.
Irina, meanwhile, stumbles over the small bench in the middle of the room, knocking a small jade figurine in the shape of a dragon onto the floor; it breaks.
Somehow the noise has not roused the sleeping creature; when Opal gets a close look at it, it appears to be a diminutive, scaled creature with short horns. It continues to toss and turn, apparently having some kind of a nightmare.
Irina winces, less from the blunder of her attempt at stealth and more at the potentially valuable (at least historically speaking) figurine she just broke...

Opal sits down next to the creature. She has never seen a Kobold before. Scrunches her nose, but they smell terrible. She leans close and shakes the little things shoulder gently. "Wake up." She says quietly. "The nightmares are chasing you." persuasion13for an attempt at not scaring the thing. She is a friend.
Oswald slings his shortbow up onto his shoulder, approaching the Kobold with open hands outstreched.
"My name is Oswald, I'm sorry my friends and I woke you. What Blaze here is asking is if you can tell us your name and we'll get the introductions out of the way?"
The kobold looks at Blaze, and then at Oswald. "This is the dragon's room, and I am here because I am Meepo, a dragon tamer! Or it was, and I was, before our tribe's precious wyrmling was stolen from us." Meepo looks dejected, pointing to the broken cage in the south of the room.

Irina will quietly make her way to the wall to inspect the markings, does she recognise the language? (She knows common, draconic and infernal).

insight 19 Opal looks over the little beast visually, does she believe he's really sleeping?
The diminutive creature appears to really be asleep.
Oswald moves closer to the sleeping form, returning his arrow to his quiver. As he gets closer, he tries to identify the sleeping creature.

You're not sure but given it's small size and draconic features you suspect this is a kobold.

Irina will also approach the creature, just in case some translation from draconic is necessary.
The kobold startles awake. "Wha-?" He looks at Opal and Irina. "Who are you, what are you doing here?"
Blaze looks to the Kobold and asks, "I could ask the same of YOU, what are YOU doing here?"
Oswald slings his shortbow up onto his shoulder, approaching the Kobold with open hands outstreched.

Opal looks to Irina for translation as she understands none of what it says if in draconic.
OOC - Oswald cannot speak Draconic and has been speaking in Common. Is Meepo speaking Common back?
Meepo is speaking Common because that's what Blaze addressed him with.
Blaze raises an eyebrow to Meepo, “You lost your wyrmling? Tell me what happened here, what’s going on in this place?”
