"Look, the druid we're working for was very specific about what we could take to ensure that the plant was not harmed. You know druids...all about preserving life and balance. If you dig this thing up - that will kill it for sure! But maybe there's another cactus like this one that you can take. 'Cause plants procreate, so maybe there's another one around...let's look before doing anything else, OK?" Rook says, trying to come up with some kind of alternatives...
Rook doesn't spot another cactus quite like the marvelous Blue Moon Bloom, sadly.
"Well, we seem to be at an impasse," the charmed halfling says with a sigh. "I don't think the wizard will be happy if we return empty-handed, and our contract was very specific about which plant to return with..." He thinks. "You know what? I like you guys more than that creepy magician. Tell you what: how about the eight of us team up! We go find the mage where he's waiting, beat him up, take the money he promised and leave him with a better respect for the balance of nature!"
The elf, human, and dwarf bandits look to each other, very uncertain about the wisdom of this plan; but they don't seem completely opposed.
Nyx perches high atop Corvus, eyes narrowing as he tries to catch the bandits’ words carried on the desert night air. Though he’s 150 feet above, the stillness of the night and their loud voices make it possible to eavesdrop, if only faintly.
Perception Check: 12
“Alright, teaming up to rough up this wizard? I gotta say, that idea sounds a hell of a lot better than raining fire down on everyone,” Nyx calls down, his voice sharp and low, carrying a warning. “But if you’re thinking about crossing us, you’d better be ready to pay the price.”
(OOC: Does Lucky have a plan? Erdrin would not know this but in an hour this guy will know we used magic on him: Arcana Roll 7. Also would Erdrin be able to tell that there is an abrupt change in the halfling's personality? Insight Roll: 24)
Erdrin seems a little confused by this situation but will use this opportunity to gain information.
"Teaming up is fine with me. Would you be willing to tell us the name of the wizard and where we need to travel to confront him? I find having information always helps in a fight."
Rook just shrugs at his comrades, then nods to the halfling. He wasn't keen on just jumping the wizard - the rogue actually wanted to reach a peaceful conclusion to the evening. As long as they could get the other group away from the plant, they would miss the chance to dig it up. Whatever happened after that could still be negotiated =)

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
(I think that's the plan for now. I think if we don't, it'll us vs them then us vs wizard when they don't return.)
(Ahh...just saw JoanBaxter's message - this game is cancelled... See y'all around the boards!)
