With the last guard finally dealt with Arthasis breathed a sigh of relief and started to search the room for something useful. It seemed that they were in some kind of armory with different types of weapons and armor filling the walls of the room. The young man grabbed a leather armor and one dagger for himself and then sat down at the next convenient place leaning his back against the wall. Exhausted he watched the scene of the battle just realizing how many of his fellow prisoners died. The most important thing was that he had not been one of them.
The warlock needed a moment to calm his rage. The pact he had struck promised him power and wealth but he had neither. He did not feel powerful as spell after spell bounced off the drow’s defense. Arthasis closed his eyes and for a second he felt a semblance of peace. A peace that was suddenly disturbed by a growl in the distance steadily getting louder before turning into a dark mocking laughter. Startled he tried to get to his feet but he could neither move nor open his eyes, trapped inside his own body. Panic set in but no matter how hard he struggled, it was to no avail.
“Puny human! Don’t you dare to blame me for your weakness!”, a voice as dark as the world he found himself in began to mock him. Arthasis tried to answer but even uttering a single word was not possible. The presence was laughing again, “Don’t annoy with your voice worthless creature and listen closely to my words.” The darkness paused before makingits Point, “You are of no worth to me dead. Therefore, if you do not want me to torment your soul for eternity, you better keep surviving. Stay alive and you might prove useful to me after all. Die and suffer the consequences.” The mocking laughter surrounding him, then began to slowly recede in the distance. “Use your gifts wisely.”, was the last thing Arthasis heard before he bounced back to reality.
Before he could process what just had happened he felt a burning sensation in his eyes and hands, while out of thin air a tome did materialize in his lap. The warlock didn’t know how much time had passed since he closed his eyes, which now had small golden-glowing rings around the pupil and the iris. He was rather franticly scanning the room to see what the others were doing, all the while hoping that nobody noticed what just happened.
What's this goblin up to? Crispy thought to herself, suspiciously. She could barely see in the distance, but all she wanted was two things: One, her stuff. Two, to confirm that Cade was up to the same objective.
We've already lost a few other prisoners - namely, the living mushroom, and the dark dwarf..who spelled a name of..something..with guts on the floor. What a weirdo. I'm glad he's gone.
She saw Cade enter the next area, and as she got closer, she could hear noise. Let me guess. A huge spider guarding our stuff? Oh, these Drow are so clever. Euccchhh. Spiders. Gross. Well, here goes.
Perception: 10 Initiative: 15
Her perception was a little off as she tried to keep her balance crossing, but she had her weapons out, and ready to go, trying to follow Cade into the room.
If given a chance to opportunity attack when it ran:
Hack 'n Slash for another leg: 7 Damage: 8.
The goblin curses in goblin as a goblin is want to do after a series of misses. Seeing his target now on the ceiling and readying itself to spring, Cade flings his axes this time, hoping to take out at least one of its support legs on the same side it was damaged. "Oh -- wait! Shii--mmn!" He has to bite his tongue to keep from cursing again, for now he was weaponless. Thinking fast, if he can scrabble beneath the "safety" of the bed, he does just that. Otherwise, he settles for at least hiding behind it for partial cover.
Main Attack: 6 Damage: 6.
Offhand Attack: 11 Damage: 3.

Crispy rears the corner into the cave room after sprinting across the bridge and stops, weapons ready. Her eyes darting around the room, she sees Cade and the biggest spider she's ever seen doing battle.
"AHHH!" She squeals in surprise. "A goblin!" she yells, pointing at Cade. She then lets out a quick snort in laughter. "Just kidding!" She jokes, then, "AHHH!"She yells again, more seriously. "A giant spider!! GROSS!" and leaps past Cade to attack it.
Since it's 20' above me, I can't attack, so I just crack the joke and wait to see what happens. Basically, I will use my READY action - Trigger: When it comes down to the floor.
Arthasis would find the dagger to be extraordinarily bland.
His armor, while not radiating in power of some unknown source, was exquisitely crafted. Arthasis has found Leather Armor +1. (This adds 1 to your AC)

Both the Derro look at each-other, a sigh of resignation in their voices before they speak again "We cannot... say. Just please leave us alone, perh.. perhaps you should find the ones who left, they have left for hours, and not came back." the twins hug more tightly to eachother. "So p-please, just .. leave us.. alone. Don't eat us.."

Eldreth apologizes, and lays back, clearly tired. She hadn't been in that sort of physical confrontation in a while, her body wasn't used to it anymore. but she would sigh, getting up, winking at chubby, sayign "Ay'ell be right back, I need to get meself a bit more prepared." she would say, as she gathered up herself her own shortsword and leather armor, donning it. And looking quite the part of a scout. "I know ye're dissappointed, not gettin to see me many rollin' valleys anymore, but a girl needs to be prepared!" she would say before laying on the floor "Let me get a bit more rest, I have a feelin' we're not done, and rest'll be scarce"

The spider pouncing down at Cade the moment he turned his back, pouncing and landing hard on the bed, crushing it beneath it's weight, it's mandibles biting down hard where it thought he was at. It's landing causing the stalactite to shudder, and a deep, booming noise to echo throughout the chamber.
Attack:8 Damage: 9 DC 11 constitution check, if failed, also take: 12 and be paralyzed for an hour.
The spiders bite misses just barely, mandibles clacking into the stone, only to suddenly be attacked from behind, its interior-right-back leg feeling a slice that also took off the tip of it's foot fly off, causing it to spin at her, rearing up, and baring it's fangs, dripping with venom.
From down below, shouts were heard, muffled. Apparently there were people deeper down the stalactite.
Immotichey blinks a couple of times at their statement that some that have been gone for a while. He then looks around the room and hastily strides over to the two dwarves, who seemingly have found time to make a love connection during this jail break. The lizardman says in a rather abrupt and curt manner, "I think your friend has gone on ahead and has been gone for some time...along with the goblin."
Cade's ears perk up at the noise below. But with the threat still before him, the goblin bears his teeth, waits only a few seconds or so for the right moment, then scrabbles forward and onto his feet, aiming to bite deep into another leg. Then with an unsurprising (at least to some by this point) nimbleness, he dives back deeper under the bed. "Stinking... stoopid... spider... come on!" He growls out.
Bite Attack:16 Damage: 3.
Bonus Action: Disengage.

The warlock was still trying to process what just happened to him, when he realized that something was off. “What do you mean? They went ahead without us?”, Arthasis asked incredulous overhearing the Lizardman. It was true. Scanning the room he noticed that the goblin and the woman were gone. “Are they crazy? They will get us all killed.”, with that he jumped to his feet, ready to look for them. Splitting up now would most certainly lead to their demise.
The spider hisses again in pain, the bite unable to tear anything off, but it did leave a stone-grey ichor oozing slowly down a leg. Oddly enough the limbs that had been completely torn showed no such signs.
The spider would try to bite the goblin again as he disengaged but was unable to.

Evrik's prayers were disturbed by Arthasis' sudden outburst. He shook his head and drifted back into the moment. "What? Find who?" He took a quick look around the room and noticed that Crispy and the goblin were gone. "When did they... WHERE are they?!" He quickly put on the leather armor he had found and picked up the short sword and Taevi. Looking at Arthasis, he asked "Do you have any idea which direction?". Evrik approached the prince and asked respectfully, [Elvish] "How are you feeling majesty? Are you well enough to help us find the others?"
“I think they went towards the priestess’ chambers.”, he pointed in the general direction of the bridge leading to it, assuming they would not have a reason to return to the cells.
Chubby: “They didn’t come through this door...I’ve been guarding it with rapt attention!” He blushes as he says that, realizing he’s been making bedroom eyes with the other dwarf the entire time, and feeling stupid for not paying attention to what was going on in the rest of the room.
