Having heard enough, Olgha descended from the ceiling, moving down the nearest stone pillar with the same unnatural ease she had gone up. She rejoined the group at the edge of the firelight, her expression unreadable. "This is a dead end," she said, her voice low and pragmatic. "And we're exposed here."
She looked at Elanil, her gaze level and direct, cutting through the emotional chaos of the last few minutes. "The man who paid you," she said. "Did he say if he was coming back?"
Vadania sighs, "Dead end... this line has dried up. Perhaps we should now try to take a boat and get Garil to Igzo safely and talk to the king or some other government official about our vampire problem."
Engelheart stares at the girl, "Perhaps the best thing for you to do is to put a little distance between you and you addictive supplies. But also just leaving without a word to your sister might not be the best play either." He moves next to here starts another flame in his hand and holds it out to her, curious if she will try and relight. "We are afaid that our mutual aquatance might try and cleanup loose ends, and you being a direct contact maybe such an end. However we are not the best to offer you any safe haven as we are not on speaking terms with him ourselves."
"...I can't do it. I wouldn't be able to face her without breaking down. I think I'll go now. There's an inn over by the Unicorn I believe, if you were looking for a place to stay."
Vadania nudges her party, "Come on. I think we have done all that we could here. Let's go. We should probably rest for the night and go towards Igzo at dawn."
Vannithos steps closer to Elanil as they prepare to leave, silent in contemplation for a moment before speaking. "Mastery over oneself is a noble pursuit. We are more than our physical forms, much more than any addiction. Please remember...freeing your true self is worth the effort."
She nods solemnly, before giving her final words. "Thank you." With that, she walked up towards the road, and walked away, watching only what was in front of her, and nothing behind.

" I'm afraid he didn't say anything to me about returning."
Vadania sighs, "Dead end... this line has dried up. Perhaps we should now try to take a boat and get Garil to Igzo safely and talk to the king or some other government official about our vampire problem."
Vorin nods agreement. "Doesn't seem like we have any other options."
"Indeed, it seems we've done all we can here," Vannithos agrees as well.

Vadania looks at the sky and asks, "Should we try and find a place to spend the night here?"

She stares at the fire for a moment, before throwing her smoke into the river. "I suppose you're right. As for going back to see my sister..."

Vannithos gives a slight nod and heads to join the others as they look for shelter for the night.
