Sucé you remember Edgar often trains alone later in the days and you also know that the forest is much more beautiful towards the night with the “sun”set and wildlife. Would it be worth it to wait for that time and go to the market or just go off right now?

Zarvox’s looks around, as his purple thread embroidery shimmers like a warning. His tail swaying in rhythm with unseen but faintly heard drums, voice curling with theatrical menace: “Ah, yes. A symphony, not of strings or brass, but of blades and screams. You, my dear squad, are the instruments. I am merely the conductor.” He taps the Codex, fingers dancing in cipher, as if transcribing the future. “Our enemies will provide the percussion—skulls cracked like timpani, hearts struck like war drums. Their regrets will be the melody. Their final breaths, the harmony.” He turns slowly, ember eyes sweeping across the squad. “Ian, you’ll bleed in bold staccato. Tyst, in bitter dissonance. The rest of you? Surprise me. The abyss loves improvisation.”He again bows mockingly, horns gleaming like inked crescents. “Let them come. Let them scream. We will compose a masterpiece in crimson. And when the last note fades, the Codex will hum with truth.” A pause. Then, softly: “The abyss listens, you know. It prefers symphonies.”
Zarvox’s gaze lingers on Tyst, tail curling like a punctuation mark. His voice shifts—mock solemnity laced with riddled cadence: “A puzzle, then, for the perceptive: What walks with grace, but trips on truth? What hears whispers, yet misses meaning? What purrs at praise, but hisses at insight?” He taps the Codex once, the sound sharp as a snub. “Most solve it quickly. Some… take longer. Especially if they shed fur, soot and dignity in equal measure.” He bows yet again even lower—exaggerated, theatrical, and faintly cruel. “But worry not, Tyst. Even the thickest veil can be pierced—eventually. The abyss is patient. And so am I.”
"Ah, there you have it ladies and gentlemen," Tyst says with his hands outstretched towards Zarvox, "the inscrutable Zarvox. I rest my case. We should probably stick to together. I vote for shopping first - maybe we'll find something useful. And then Edgar and the training grounds."
