(I was waiting for DM or Thrash to continue the thing at the door. Which, OBTW, did anyone else hear? The whispering or shushing - not Thrash's yelling ;-)
"What do we do next? Go through the door? Open the sarcophagi? Climb out of this pit? Thrash, what do you think?" Alustine will watch the lizardman carefully, looking for any aggressive or strange actions. Well...strange for Thrash, anyways...
(I was waiting to see if anything else happened also, sorry. Also also, I dont know where shaz is again. )
Thrash hearing whispers on the other side of the door would look back towards the group. "You were right Rajiira, someone is definitely out there.." After shooting them all a toothy grin he would turn towards the door and reply back to Alustine over his shoulder. "I say we take the fight to them.." before attempting to kick in the door in hope of getting to the enemies on the other side.
**You guys were waiting on me? I was waiting on you! lol letting you RP out this turn of events**
**I would say Thrash hears it for sure, cause he's standing right by the door, the rest of you probably not, unless you want to roll me a Perception to try**
The door doesn't even budge a teeny bit when Thrash pushes on it.
**I'll say that everyone is down in the lower room now and hears/sees this whole exchange.**
"Go through the door it is..." Alustine will draw his rapier and stand close to the door, but not directly in front of it. Thrash's kick to the door would definitely have alerted anything on the other side that they were in the room!
You do all hear some quiet gasps and chattering from the other side of the door after Thrash pounds on the door, but like I said, the door doesn't move at all.
Thrash will sheath his weapon and and let out defeated snarl before rubbing his now yellow glazed eyes with his obsidian clawed hands.... mumbling quietly to himself in front of the door and away from the group so that it would be hard for them to hear... "Sure.. Skyane gives me the power to raise the dead but I cannot open a damn door...." A moment later, he will turn and look towards Alustine. "Hey buddy, why don't you bring that crowbar of yours over here and maybe we can work together to get this door open.." The lizardfolk will say from across the room.. his dark scales blending in with the shadows so that most of what you see is the white of his teeth as he grins and the yellow tint of his eyes.
Tyriok says, "Hold on, let me try something.." and he fires a couple Fire Bolts at the door, but they seem ineffective.
You all hear a very muffled voice coming from the other side of the doors, it sounds like an older woman, 'Who's in there? What are you doing? How did you get in there?"
"Not yet...let's see how this plays out..." the bard whispers in response to Rajiira. He will move towards Thrash with his crowbar in hand, and help him pry the doors open. For once, he remains silent as the voice on the other side speaks up!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rajiira considered her options, and as the pair tried prying open the door, she would shout.. since those on the other side already knew they were there....
Are you friend or foe? We have wandered here from distant lands..... We mean you no harm....... but you should still be wary.....she said trying to warn them that something was off but that ultimately the party itself meant them no harm.
You hear some more quiet whispering, then the same voice you heard before responds to Rajiira, "How did you get in that room? We tried to magic our way in there but were blocked by something"
(Sorry for the absence, holiday bleh and post holiday bleh and then I wasn't sure when to jump in because we're being bested by...a door? lol)
Tisnip will listen closely to the voices on the other side of the door as she walks up to it but she won't speak, letting Rajiira handle it. Instead she'll check out the door itself and the walls on either side for any point of weakness or tell that would give away how to open it.
(Is it possible to use Stonecunning here for a History check or something like that? I looked back but I honestly can't remember if the walls and the door are stone or metal. It's so late and I'm so sleeeepy.

Alustine knew he wasn't stronger than most, but he thought that he and Thrash would have been able to pry the doors open. When they failed, and with the question from the ones on the other side of the door, he started to re-evaluate the situation. "So neither magic nor strength will open this door? There must be something to be feared or protected above all others on one side of this door...We should check the other doors, being verycareful not to trigger some terrible trap!"
The bard will check every door , looking for patterns, connections, and clues to how they may be opened. He will also compare the sarcophagi to determine if they are somehow connected to the doors...all while keeping an eye on yellow-eyed Thrash.
Tisnip - the walls are stone, and the door is made of a solid opaque amber. Roll a stonecutting check and if its good ill give you advantage on any thing you do to the door.
Allustine - There is only one set of doors in this room. you would normally assume that amber set of doors was the only way in. You came through a very rough looking hole through the floor up above you. The only things in this room are the three large Sarcophagi, one of which Thrash has interacted with. The voices on the other side are trying to get in.

Thrash will attempt to strike the door with his longsword, cursing loudly "Open up door!"
Attack: 20 Damage: 7
Alustine continues to watch the lizardman, not wanting to get in his way for fear of being mistaken as an enemy...

strength with advantage 16
Thrash - yeah, you dinged it with your hit, but you two are not able to push it open with the crowbar, it is very heavy.
