Tyriok nods to the tiefling and the others. "My name is Tyriok Quillfeather!" he gives a bow, "Magical you say? Hmm... let us see then!"
You see Tyriok take a small leatherbound book from the inside of his robe and flip a couple pages. He starts to mutter a few arcane words as he waves his small gnome hand in the air over the next 10 or so minutes and casts Detect Magic as a ritual.
Rajiira would, now that everyone seemed to be getting their personal bearings, shift back to her bedroll, and slide it into the holder astride her backpack. Tail moving more loosely now, liek an ever-shifting snake, in search of prey it will never find. Hear ears straight up now, reaching above her head. Still alert, but much more relaxed than she had been upon waking up, and it showed in her lithe movements. Shifting the pack to the opposite side of her quiver, shouldering it once for comfort, before rejoining the folks gathered around.
As the Gnome began his ritual, she added her own name to the list, saying in a soft, sweet churr "You may call this one, Rajiira. I am friendly, so long as you are!" she said, without threat, and accentuating it with a wink before adding "But humans have a saying about Tigers and tails, yes?" she finished, adding in a playful swipe of her paw-like hand before standing to her full height of just over five feet, standing on Digitigrade legs.
Finally, seeing that the one-who-sniffs, as she would forever call them at this point. "Had you not looked, I would have. But yes, I do believe this to be the best course of action. Idle hands lead to dead lands. Though i will wait until the little Tyriok finishes his deductions, as knowledge, I find, to be very important." Part of her statement may have been a bit unintentionally literal, but only time would tell.
Tisnip narrows her eyes at the mist and nods, hefting her warhammer and her shield into their ready positions. "It's the best plan we've got. All right, everyone stay close." Making sure everyone is behind her she starts on the path. She moves slowly, gaze shifting from the trees around them to the path in front of her as she watches for danger.

Rajirra assumes a Stealthy pose, and follows farthest behind the group, watching the sides of the road as well as the people in front of her. Drawing her bow to be Ready to shoot anything that seems hostile, while maintaining her stealth.

"This doesn't look like the way to Ordulin..." Thrash thinks to himself scratching his claws against the base of his frill that runs along the top of his head.... " I guess I must have taken a wrong turn"
Thrash is a dark scaled Lizardfolk, His hands and feet are almost obsidian in color that gradually transitions to a Charcoal gray color that covers most of his scaly body. The frills on his head, neck, arms and legs all start our the same charcoal color as the rest of his body but them flow into a deep green by the time they reach the tips. Hunting trophies hang from the leather harness he wears strapped tightly around his chest. in his left hand he is holding a torch and in his right hand he is wielding a flail of his own creation. The handle is made of carved ivory and with a chain connecting it to what appears to be a small boat anchor. After continuing down the dirt path he will squint his dark green eyes and peer into the mist ahead. Upon seeing other figures in the mist he will yell" Hey there! You wouldn't happen to know the way to Ordulin would ya?.... I ssseem to be lossst"

Alustine follows the lead of Rajirra and stops in his tracks, slowly stepping to the side of the path and trying to blend in with the mist and trees. Unlike his new colleagues, he does not draw any weapons...he merely stands ready with his hand resting lightly near the hilt of his rapier.
Only-The-Cold steps out from her terrible hiding spot.
"It appears you are a friend. Who are you and where do you come from? Be warned that if you attempt to attack us, you will find yourself missing several vital organs."
She says this to the tree to the right of the lizardman.
Tisnip steps forward, her weapon lowered but not her shield. "I am Tisnip Steelfist, cleric of Ilmater, and these people are under my protection. If you mean us any harm, I swear you'll regret it, but if you're also lost in this forest then perhaps we can help each other." She keeps her eyes on the lizard-man, not liking how close Only-The-Cold is to a being they don't yet know is friend or foe.
"Woah woah woah lady, if anyone should be on edge here it is me... I do appear to outnumbered after all. I mean you no harm." Thrash will say with a sharp-toothed smile on his face. He will quickly glance at the individuals in front of him while ever so softly whispering to the woman addressing the tree nearby "I am this way friend."
Then after clearing his throat to break the awkward silence, he will begin to explain to the group "I wasss traveling on what I thought wasss the path to Ordukin until I became losst in thisss sstrange fog. Now I am not ssure where I am.
After placing his flail on his belt he will take step toward the woman with a shield and extend his right hand for a handshake, still holding a torch in his left hand. "I would very grateful to all of you if you allowed me to accompany you to your destination.... essspecially if it means finding a way out of thiss fog" Reflections of the torch light flicker off of the obsidian-like scales on his hands and the tips of his claws. Trash will shoot them all another big toothy smile while continuing to hold out his hand.
OOC I would like to apologize for using the wrong name for Thrash in my first post, Wreckzors is the name of my other character I play in another game.
Thash, still standing in the path with his hand extended towards Tisnip, Will lift his torch towards Tyiok and with a gentle nod say "It isss nice to meet you too Tyriok"
A breeze blows through for a moment, rattling the trees like bones. And for a brief time you can see a bit farther. In the distance you can see what might be a village.

Tyriok - You reach out with your arcane senses but are unable to detect anything magical in the area
Tyriok frowns and pushes up his spectacles. "I do not sense anything magical in the area... maybe we should head down that path."

Is anyone actually attacking this Lizard man? Or just readying actions?
