Alustine missed the extra javelin - he must have been caught up in the epic battle unfolding before him. He scoops it up, rears back, and throws it as hard as he can, hoping to keep the beast away!

Thrash, out of javelins... will grab the second of the spears that Rajiira had retrieved for him and one of the last throwing weapons he has. Holding the spear to his mouth, he will spit a bloody mass on to the tip of the spear before thrusting it through the air towards Lorgoth. Thrash will then pull a hand axe out of his belt and toss it to Only-the-cold try throwing this at it!

Tisnip will see that Thrash is nearly out of weapons and she'll worry as she casts another Sacred Flame at the Lorgoth heap. "Thrash, if it is as bad off as it looks don't get close to it! Anything near death gets desperate and I don't want it getting you when we're so close." She'll glance at the crumbled pillars and the ceiling with a worried look. "And as soon as it drops I suggest we get out of here."
*** lol THRASH is committed to killing this thing. he plans to recover his 4 javelins and 2 spears and his 2 hand axes (assuming they get thrown in the near future)...***
As the Lorgoth slowly lurches forward Rajiira fires another arrow into its writhing hide. Allustine picks up the javelin at his feet and hurls it won't all his might into Lorgoths abdomen, as Tisnip calls down her holy wrath. "Just die already!!!" Tyriok yells, stepping forward and blasting the abomination.
And with that Lorgoth takes his final step forward, reaching out towards you all. It tumbles forward grasping at one of the cracked columns for support, causing it to buckle.
As he falls to the ground you all year a long loud Groaaannnnn as the floor above you struggles to hold the weight on top of it.
"Last I checked, getting crushed to death is not on my bucket list. But a lot of other things are. So if I want to do those things before I die I should probably get out of here. I advise all of you to do likewise. Bye!"
With that, OTC jogs up the stairs.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"Oh finally." Tisnip sighs in relief when Lorgoth finally collapses, then her eyes widen when another pillar goes. "Oh crap. The druid is right, we have to get out of here. Let's go everyone!" She'll hurry after OTC, hoping the others see sense and hurry along as well.
Rajiira let out a momentary sigh of relief, as the creature went down, but seeing everyone else going on, she decided that it might be better if she were to bolt away, but Thrash was wounded and may not be able to move as fast, she would rush to him, putting herself under his shield arm, and ignoring any grunts of pain as she would try to help him back out, using her feline agility to help her move a bit farther.
Watching the beast fall, Thrash will let out a toothy grin as he shuffles to pick up the handaxe he tossed to OTC before finally picking up his torch. Hearing the the ceiling begin to moan, he will attempt to sprint towards the exit but will wince as the pain radiating from his side amplifies as he tries to move quickly. Suddenly as Rajiira slips under his arm, he can feel the weight of his body lessen and is able to make his way towards the exit with her help. While moving down the hall Thrash will try to keep the torch held out in front of him to light the way for the two of them, as well as their companions if they are not already too far in front of them. Turning his head to Rajiira while they continue their way out, he will let out a small laugh "Tha.... Thanks Ra.. Rajiira" Pausing with almost every step as the pain shoots through his body "I guess I should have stood and battled the beast instead of trying to dro... drop a house on it.. You would have more arrows and I would have a trophy "a genuine look of disappointment washing across his face "My... my weakness lead to desperation... which caused the mess we are... are in now... I am sorry" Thrash will keep the torch out in front of him but is now looking away from Rajiira towards the end of the hallway.
You all head up the stairs as quickly as you can, every so often hearing another long groan from somewhere above you. You make your way back through the dining hall, past the crypts and up the tight spiral staircase. When you get back to the attic you immediately notice that things have changed. You notice all of the walls of the storage room and all the boxes are in a state of quick decay, rotting before your eyes. Only-The-Cold you can smell the scent of mold and decay right away. The house, formally just dusty and unkempt has become ancient and deteriorated.
But the biggest change is the doorway into this room, the doorway which you need to cross to leave the attic, which no longer has a door but only a swirling scythe blade.
Thrash will stop in front of the door and lean hard on the closest wall while examining the door for a while while holding his side. "I don't think the that was there before..." (perception 10)

Thrash will go to push off the wall and stand back up. As he pushes on the wall and bits and pieces of the wall cover his clawed hand he will look closer at the wall to see if he thinks he could knock it down to get around the blade door.

Rajiira would look at the sworling scythe, and take a moment to consider. originally she would have preferred to try a javelin for this, and she knew what Thrash was thinking.. that would be a good backup plan if her guess failed. She took out her shield, and very carefully waited till it was in a 'going-down' motion, attempting to interpose the 'front' of the shield, which was 'facing up' against the scythe that was 'coming down' when she timed it, attempting to get the shield to stop the scythe from moving, if the blade was close enough to the wall, she would pin the far end of her shield against whatever was on the other side, if not she would do her best to hold it up against the blade with her own strength. All the while makign sure that no matter hwat happened, she kept her fingers and arm OUT of the way of the scythe.

**with that perception maybe you think it was there before?**
The blade swings back and forth, up and down, Thrash can't tell if there's a pattern.
OTC, you can hear the 'swish swish swish' of the blades, but your senses can't pinpoint them the way you normally do.

**i feel like that's more of an investigation which would give you a 14, but ill allow it, this time...**
Checking out the decaying walls you think that would probably be a DC10 Athletics check to break down a hole in the wall big enough to fit through.
**But don't even think about doing that until some other people post!**
*** I know, I wasn't planning on doing anything else. Just exploring this tiny area at the top of the steps that we are stuck in lol **
