Bards are traditionally musicians - whether singers, instrumentalists, or both. But I've heard of people playing bards that are poets, storytellers, dancers, actors, clowns, and more.

I'd love to hear about characters like this that either you've played or someone else in your game did. What worked well, what didn't, any interesting stories - whatever you'd like to share is appreciated!

What about an Alchemist? Bardic inspiration, Countercharm, Cure Wounds, etc. are potions and injections, Hideous Laughter is Laughing gas, etc.
