Sometimes, its not about where your going it's all about the journey of how you get there. In this land of of ork clans that control the the sea of the vast spaces of the grass lands and the ever constant theat war between the dwarfs and goblins.
There is a recently released ancient red dragon queen that is working behind the scenes to take control of the continent and kobold cults that do her bidding. There are some that stand in her way but they seek to control all dragonkind, dragonborn, kobolds and many other dragon like creatures and there methods of achieving these goal are less then civilised.
The team find themselves in a port city called Selco where there is no short of problems, but now there are dead bodies being found all over the city drained of blood they turned in to a tavern to lick there wounds and have now found themselves in there with a dead barmaid and a few suspicious suspects on who done it.
So that's a small look into my setting, we have been playing for nearly two years now and a lot has happened as you can guess. im looking for players who can give me a few posts most days we play everyday some days are more active then others. We are at level 6 so if you could please post about your character idea and maybe a small background so I know who they are ,please don't just ask me to add you because I won't, im fine with any race and class im all about the storyline and how it will change and unfold with what you do and how you act, im fine with new or experienced people. If you are interested please tell me about your character idea.
I have 2 characters based on the needs of the party
I have Old Eltra Wibblerobble a tortle druid or Theodore (Teddy) Teddletiddle a gnome wizard
Either one could have stumbled upon some sort of knowledge on the ancient dragon and the cult that follows her or Teddy been investigating the deaths within the port city because a friend lost someone close to them and Teddy's trying to help. Eltra could have been forced from his home in the woods because the cult or one of the less civilized groups "invaded"
I am open to any tie ins. I like building my characters into the stories.
Name: Nima Class: Barbarian Species: Goliath Background: Born amid the storm-swept peaks of Skyrend Hold, Nima Stoneskin Anakalathai was never molded by gentle teachings or scrolls of wisdom. She was raised on stone and silence, where the measure of a soul was the weight it could carry and the scars it could survive. Her clan, Anakalathai, revered strength and honor—but Nima carved her own name among them with blood and grit.
At thirteen, a frost giant raid shattered the calm of winter. Armed only with a scavenged great axe and blind defiance, Nima held the cliff pass alone, buying time for her kin to regroup. Her body bled into the mountain, and the stone beneath her shimmered as if it accepted her offering. From that day forward, her skin bore quartz-like scars—veins of pale gray crystal that marked her as something more than mortal. The clan named her Stoneskin.
But her legacy didn’t stop at heroism. She was raw, uneducated, and unrefined—unable to read, uncomfortable in cities, and contemptuous of politics. What she couldn’t decipher with words, she understood in wind shifts and battle cries. And the fire in her heart had a focus: orcs.
She had witnessed the horrors of an orc ambush—the loss of her younger brother Rathik and fellow clan hunters. That day carved hatred deep into her bones, and she swore no orc would die gently by her hand again.
Her weapon, a great axe named Grudge, is a testament to her soul. Forged from sky pine and etched with iron bands that bind a splintered haft, it bears two edges: one jagged and cruel, stained by rage; the other polished, gleaming with restraint. Grudge responds to her emotions—growing heavier when grief clouds her, lighter when her resolve is pure. In moments of fury, the jagged side hums like stone cracking under pressure. Its magic is subtle, ancestral, drawn from her bond with the mountain and the memory of Rathik, whose name is carved beneath the sinew-wrapped handle alongside those she’s protected—and those she couldn’t.
She is blunt. She is relentless. She cannot recite poetry, but she writes epic sagas in the wounds left behind.
Now, as a wandering protector with no tolerance for tyranny, Nima stands between civilization and chaos. Cities baffle her; diplomacy bores her. But injustice? That she understands. And when she swings Grudge, the storm she carries within is given form.
