Magoo leads his band of mischievous minions to Krackel’s alter to ensure they know that it is to be treated with reverence and is off-limits from their games. After allowing the inevitable groans of disappointment roll past, Magoo moves his crowd to a safe spot to practice their forms. He has gotten in the habit of training some of the stronger and bigger kids with practice swords and spears and some of the smaller and quicker kids on stealth and sleight of hands activities. The big kids love this since some are stronger than Magoo while the dexterous kids are in awe of his fast movements. He promises with a wink that he will later teach them how to fly (which according to one of his tall tales is how he engaged with the Treant) and makes them promise to continue their practices while he goes on the next adventure.
Prior to departure, Magoo will suggest bringing some water seeds, apples or other items from this planet with the group in case they are useful for trading. As usual, he will expect the big guys to carry such items.
He will also ask Torri’s father for any hints about what the little guy likes and dislikes or its habits. Magoo will ask if Torri’s father has had any problem after touch the mushroom or its waste since he doesn’t want to harm his fabulous hand wraps. Some of this information may prevent fighting and some might be needed if there is fighting, is Maggo’s reasoning.
Krakel didn’t have much to get ready before they left. So he mostly helped around the camp making arrangements for the mission. The day they were to leave he would have done his morning offering in the presence of the group. As usual burning a small piece of material to produce a yellow flame, and offering a prayer for protection and guidance for those venturing forth.
Once reaching the stone heads and preparing to split the group. “Should we escort the diplomats up the secret stairs to see the mephit, in case there are more bonsai raiders around? “ Krakel asks. Really he is also interested in what has been unfrozen from the old ship and is now offered for trade.
“Are we also taking the diplomats with us meet the mushroom people?” He further inquires.
Tori is just along for the ride at the moment. She's clearly got concerns for the other groups splitting off and feels very nervous for dividing the group. But, she knows the crew needs supplies and the party can't be the only ones to leave the ship. So onward she goes with them to the mushroom folk
Turns out the laborers and diplomats were traveling together. The ten strong laborers escorting the diplomats (they will stay together).
Since you’re making first contact with the mushroom ‘community’ they want you to focus on that. “Please everything you’ve done so far has help us greatly. If you make peace with this alien race we may finally find the help we need to repair our ship. We are so close.”
Magoo is pleased to be on the road again. He has learned that kids are tiring. Besides, it should be interesting to try to become allies with the mushroom folks.
{Now I'm confused. I thought the laborers were going to continue on to the stone, the diplomats were going to talk to the ones running the tourist spot, then we'd escort them to the mushroom people. That they would be doing the talking, not us.}
The npcs were going along to make some possible trades, while the young stars attempted to broker a peace deal…
Tori would be an excellent face for this endeavor.
As the party follows the ‘blue shroom’ path it follows a very narrow dirt route that leads them into a step valley. The air begins to feel very stagnant and stale. Ahead in the side of the valley is a perfectly round hole a cave that is almost exactly 10 feet in diameter the bottom is flat and looks easy to walk on.
There is a faint clicking sound coming from inside.
Magoo creates a Minor Illusion of a little mushroom guy and sends it walking near the entrance of the cave. Maybe the clicking noise is attached to something harmless, but he decides to see if it will attempt to eat the little guy first.
The little campestri disappears as soon as Magoo sees the huge clicking thing. It is tough to keep concentration when facing such a monstrosity for the first time. He is doubtful the thing speaks common or would say anything friendly if it did, so starts looking for joints and other weak places to pummel it.

Lyra translates the messages of the heads, so that each group can go in the right direction as they split up.

Lyra thinks back, "I think they wanted to talk to those running the tourist attraction first?" She looks to the diplomats for confirmation.
“I thought so too. Why don’t we head that direction. The secret stairs are right over there”, Krakel points as they walk.

Magoo is pleased to be on the road again. He has learned that kids are tiring. Besides, it should be interesting to try to become allies with the mushroom folks.
“Glad that’s cleared up.” Krakel turns to follow Lyra toward the mushroom people’s path.

{If we're doing the talking, then it would have to be Tori in charge.}
( Tori can do that )

Magoo’s Campestri waddles into the cave entry.
out follows this huge clicking monstrosity, you can already begin to feel queasy just from the sight of its glowing blue orb eyes…
SEA MISTRESS CREW

(I know what that is, but Tori doesn't)
*Gulp* Tori swallows hard before asking "Do you speak common?" While extending her stance into a battle ready position

The large creature rushes from the tunnel entry the canyon floor thuds with the power of the creatures stride.
