After successfully dispatching the myconid’s mind flayer nemesis.  The party travels back and are met with the enhanced hadozee and the fungal Thri-Kreen, a telepathic message speaks in each mind.  Accompanied by a smell of sage and images of ancient stone covered with all manner of mushrooms.  ‘For your unexpected success in this request you are welcome to enter our colony.  Simply follow these your escorts and may your minds be free.’

Tori is still creeped out by the mental communication

“I guess they were happy with our work.” Krakel says to the group as they start following their guides back to the myconid colony. 

“I sure feel nice all of a sudden. I wonder if the myconids feel like this all the time?” 

Magoo does a little dance as he moves along. 

As you follow your guides there are smells and sights along the way that you cannot easily describe or explain…

*your senses are heightened and your mildly hallucinating.

As you enter the underground myconid colony there is soft blue luminescence, a huge open cavern filled with fungal shelf walkways and bridging.  The overwhelming sight of dozens of the most alien creatures you’ve ever seen.  A colossal stone in the center is covered in shrooms and mycelium.  Somehow you know that this stone is ageless…

Your guides continue straight to a pale (albino) myconid of huge size, as you approach you see a haze form around its enormous head, “Well you did an impossible task.  What is it you want here.  We can help you on your life journey if you desire.”

Whatever your PCs are feeling here it is felt at the extremes (if appropriate you may play a panic attack or maybe awe or switch it/ suppress and be all logic)

Krakel is definitely in awe. While he usually is fairly composed and straight forward he now looks very relaxed. He has always enjoyed a few pints or a strong pull from a flask, but has never experienced anything like this……..and he enjoys it. 

Excitedly he  blurts out “Wow guys this place is beeeeauuutiful! These are some pretty nice digs you got here, perfect temp, great layout, and what’s that wonderful smell?”

“I feel like it’s been forever since we’ve eaten anything. Man, do you guys remember those blue apples…..,they were sooooo good.” Krakel reminisces as he’s struck with hunger. “Is there butterflies in here, I swear one just flew by?” ……..”mmm Tori remember that soup your dad made, it was so delicious, I really like pie have you ever had pie?”
