"I don't care if it is a dragon. If it gets us out of here, I'll shake its hand before stabbing it in the back."Folzi chuckles replying to Lyra.
"Uhm, you sure that dwarf was talking to us?"the gnome calls to Nick as he steps out of their cell. He looks across to the 'hopeful-looking' half-elves. "Now, I don't much appreciate you trying to give me away back there."Once again he takes out his tools and begins to work at the lock. "I'm glad to see some of you willing to take things into your own hands,"he shoots their grumpy neighbor a glare.

I don't know that we ever tried to cast a Level 1 -3 spell with the manacles back in the camp. Do these rules still apply, or is it a 2d100 thing for all spells?
Castors: sorcerers, warlocks, or wizards. They are all in camps and have an anti-magic means, insanely hard to remove manacles, that prevent innate and learned magical abilities. Each rune covered manacle is discipline specific but can be worked around. (Rolling with disadvantage when trying to cast level 1-3 spells and if a Nat 1 is rolled its an auto-fail with 1d12 of damage which permanently effects maximum HP. If a Nat 20 is rolled with disadvantage your spell is an auto-success dealing maximum damage! Cantrips are d100 rolls calling high/low to grant success by the roll matching you call versus attack/saves d20 rolls)
OOC: I made that rule before y'all could cast higher levels. I'll stand by the 2d100s matching above or below 50. Firebrand was only speaking to sellswords and SoTs. She has no idea y'all are loose! Dimension door specifically states "your size or smaller" and Lyra is a medium sized human. You can not take her.
Folzi easily unlocks the half-elves. The cell stall beside his and sees a troupe of halflings in tattered Mystra silver robes. More servants of the Mystra elite he assumes.

On deck the storm is raging, driving rain plummets the deck and those upon it! Firebrand shouts orders through the gale as Marion glows ever brighter seemingly single handedly holding the great airship aloft!
"What the nine hells are we supposed tp do up here? Fight a storm," Turner bellows looking to Evers who looks just as confused!
Just then an arch of lighting hits the deck! Striking true through six Sunites who fall dead on deck!
"Great mother," Evers exclaims looking to Turner. "Is magic," she says gritting her teeth! "It must be the cult," she adds moving towards Firebrand as those shadowy figures land on deck.
OOC: Pat and Hrain have 1 or 2 options. Stealth back down to the cargo hold or stand and fight with the Sunites.

OOC: Nick did not study the deck nor was he lead around. You need to roll 2d100 without edits to make it successfully in an unoccupied space. Both need to be above or below 50. You have no idea where people are on deck nor the layout of the deck/objects there. He looks at the two open cells then to the half-elves. "I guess that bit of turbulence knocked a couple of the doors cells open... Right?!"The gnome scampers up the steps towards the top deck.
A tap comes on Hrain's hip. "You were saying?"he says with a grin.

"Oh boy!" Folzi says eyeing the sky. "We may have some old friends coming to say hello!"He then scans the deck for Nick who disappeared through his magical door below deck.
It's chaos. Shadowy figures are all about attacking the Sunite paladins and clerics.

Pat moves to a position where he can protect Folzi and stands with his sword drawn. He scans the deck and combat trying to work out exactly what is going on and who the real enemy is (Perception roll - 4) and probably missing see the paladin knock Nicknack overboard is confused. As he is still trying to work out what is going on, the airship shakes suddenly (DC 12 [Dex] to stay upright - 4 rolled) and he is knocked from his feet.
"Niiiiick!" Hrain screams in horror as the gnome flies off the deck "This is madness!!!" the former paladin whispers as the world seems to go quiet around him, aware of Folzi and Pat nearby and assuming Lyra is behind him he calls to the group "this is not our fight" then he is unceremoniously dumped on the floor as the ship shakes under him.
Folzi notices the shadowy figures are clad mostly in natural armor, tattered robes, and are of various races combined.
OOC: Just to be clear... Is this description consistent with the dragon-casters? Various humanoid races - humans, elves, halflings, or something more exotic?
