Name: Fran Link

Class: Warlock

Species: Tabaxi

Backstory: Fran had been a slave as long as she can remember. The slave merchant that owned Fran was attacked by a monster while between towns. He ordered his slaves to fight the monster although they had no armor or weapons, just to buy the slaver time to retreat. 

Fran, one of the slaves, a young cat girl, sees sword just stuck in the ground. When she approaches the sword, it talks to her telepathically, asking her to pull it out of the ground and equip it. When Fran does so, she is suddenly proficient with the sword and with magic. She defeats the monster, though not until after the monster had killed all the other slaves along with the slaver. The sword also somehow released her from the slave collar that had compelled obedience, she was now free, with a magic sword!

Fran named the magic sword Master and has embarked on life as a monster hunter. She often has problems not being taken seriously due to her young age, but she is growing powerful quickly. She also has problems with her large appetite, twice that of a large man. Although charismatic and liked by those who work with her, Fran is a cat of few words.

Subclass: Hexblade

Fran is a character based on a web novel. The exact abilities don't match, but the essence remains, a young cat girl granted martial and magical power by a sentient sword.

I used 2024 rules were possible, but needed the legacy Tabaxi race and Hexblade subclass to make this character. 

Thank you for the lore that’s awesome.  You’ve put some thought into its creation obviously.  I really like the map and the word origin about Tyvern translating to falcon…  a lot of room for creative minds to build on.

I’m really psyched to see what TheGatoLover does with this campaign.

 Me too. I based one of my characters off of the lore about the past. It’s really well crafted despite a bit of a loophole as to how certain species can hide among humans so well…unless they have shape shifting and I missed that.(which now that I say it seems likely) But overall it’s probably the most well crafted lore I’ve seen at least put together cohesively.

With a yawn and stretch she replies, "Evil walks the land?"

"Yes, my lady."
