I am starting a discord based 5e space campaign in a setting with a lot of Homebrew. I am a rule of cool DM, looking for a full set of new characters. I am considering accepting all applicants and starting the campaign as a Battle Royale (against NPCs not fellow player characters) one shot leading into the campaign. The idea being you were all scooped up from your home worlds without permission dropped into the game, and 4 to 7 people who become the permanent player characters would band together and attempt escape.
Please submit a custom race and starting class with whatever subclass you think you might end up with which I won't hold you to. Standard array. Your custom race can be built with the Tasha's rules but you may add one creative race feature, please try to remember balance LOL.
