Zozzie takes note of any other entrances to the chamber. He then begins to search any lever, switch, or glyph that might (or might not) be connected to the statue or pedestal. While oblivious to Cadences actions, he chimes in right after Amaranth, “Perhaps in the chamber we didn’t look there is a clue?”
Cadence picks up the statue and finds a riddle inscribed on the bottom that reads:
"The queen sits proud upon her throne Her servant kneels on cobbled stone Place each in the other's stead And reveal her crown, engulfed in web"
"Sound like we need to find this 'Kneeling Servant', should we look elsewhere?" Zozzie moves to Zyrelle to look at her map and see what options there are for where it could be located.
he places the queen statue on the ground facing the pedestal and then he sits himself onto it so that the queen is “subservient” to himself on the pedestal.
He looks around to see if anything happens.
”Eh worth a shot. Wasn’t sure if we were the servants or not. And anything is worth trying before going to the spider corridor”
Zyrelle says with a nod of approval, "That was worth a try. I suppose we'll need to check out the webbed corridor next. I might be able to clear out the webs with some Fire Bolts."
You push onward through the cave and come across another chamber. Standing at the entrance, you notice 7 massive spiders on the roof. They appear to be sleeping, however, and have not yet noticed you. You can see two more dead bodies on the other side, equipped with the same armor as the other delvers you found. There are two more tunnels you can see, one of which you can see opens up into a massive cavern, much larger than any of the previous ones.
Zyrelle says quietly, "I might be able to injure a couple of them with a shatter spell, but that will definitely wake them all up. Anyone have any idea of how to take on 7 spiders safely?"
“Maybe some simultaneous shatters? I can conjure up one as well. I can also try casting sleep on them… which seems redundant since they are already sleeping. Perhaps we just try to slip past unnoticed?”
“I don’t like our options. It’s one thing for an individual to sneak past. It’s completely different for the group. But a straight up fight isn’t the best choice either. Zbornak nearly didn’t make it taking on the other group we encountered. Given our choice of bad options though, unless someone has a better suggestion, I say we at least try to slip past first.” Zozzie whispers to the group, with an eye on the arachnids.
"We need to play this smart. We should sneak across as far as we can, then if they wake up, we run to get to the next corridor, where hopefully we can bottleneck them and only face them one at a time. Just like when I had to defend some turf against the Wharf Rat Gang, they swarmed us but a really narrow alley saved our bacon that day." Zbornak's eyes remain locked on the spiders as she whispers, a happy note of reminiscence creeping into her voice.

“Well we could remove the statue and see if that affects the pedestal at all?
and in asking he walks over and lifts the queen statue off the pedestal.
Amaranth says, "We could try moving the small statue..." just as it gets moved.

Zbornak shivers. "It's probably back the other way, in that webby corridor we saw opposite this one."
Cadence tried one thing first…
he places the queen statue on the ground facing the pedestal and then he sits himself onto it so that the queen is “subservient” to himself on the pedestal.
He looks around to see if anything happens.

Cadence sits on the pedestal, but it doesn't have any effect.

Zbornak looks confused, and whispers "If they're sleeping, can't we just sneak by?"
Zyrelle comments, "We can certainly try to sneak by, but if they wake up, we might find ourselves in the middle of 7 giant spiders."
{How big are giant spiders, and how close are they to each other? Specifically, how many could we catch inside a 10' radius shatter?}
