For all intents and purposes we will consider the party fully assembled and traveling together from this point, barring any points where I might directly message players or groups of players who are separated from the primary group :)
Also, just because it can become necessary with a larger group — don’t feel bad to reach out to me if you see something you might want your character to take part in or react to and say “hey, I’d like to do something here, don’t move on just yet!”
ditto if you are ever unclear about anything, as a larger ensemble means a lot more things to handle and I may very well forget certain things as we move!

Great, sorry for being inactive/having short messages, probably gonna have more spare time to properly participate more now.
Of course! This goes for anyone — if you feel like you’re being left in the dust or you have a busy time coming up and you aren’t going to be able to be as active, let us know here and I will come up with one reason or another for your character to be temporarily sidelined or off doing something else, if it fits :p
Assuming something like that happens during a combat I’d rather not have someone’s character in deathly peril while they’re absent so I may either delay or continue as if they weren’t involved initially
I do have it so you may be thinking of your other game, though I’m not in love with discord as a platform for DnD games that aren’t massive west marches type deals — the separate channels and threads are well suited for multiple parties running about different locations simultaneously, which isn’t what I anticipate here now that we’ve converged out of introductory mode. I’m happy to leave that up to the folks of the party though and see if we want to take a look :D
The one aspect I will give a point in Discord’s favor for is that we have players that are enthusiastic about chatting with other players outside of plot events moving forward, and that is neatly handled in threads within discord without drowning the main feed!
I am entirely content with the group's decision either way, but if I may lend my voice to the argument in favor of Discord, that platform is a lot easier to search for past posts from players, to pin important information to relevant channels for access later, comes with bots like Avrae that can handle the business of rolling and linked to the campaign to import character sheets automatically, etc. etc. It would also make OOC communication a lot more streamlined. I, personally, don't have any issues with the many POVs, but I do think Discord would, not necessarily solve this problem (with this many players operating across different time zones and availabilities, confusion is inevitable), but make it easier to cope with.
Even if there's only one IC channel it's still easier to keep track of what's going on in it and it allows for other channels for dice rolls, combat, character entries so it's easier to remember who each character is, etc.
I've set up a little discord server for us to experiment with for the time being, I will drop that link in our PM game and see how we like it - if any folks are especially opposed to Discord, we can talk about it further!
I’m not necessarily opposed to discord, but I’d definitely only be able to properly put out a few rp messages using discord (simply because of how I usually access ddb vs discord.)
It seems the main thing folks are in favor of discord for would be ease of keeping up with what is happening more easily, so I don't know that output would be too much of a deterrent so long as you were able to check in every couple of days or so!
I'm trying to catch up and figure out what's going on but the different perspectives are confusing.
If it's alright could someone please bring Geron into whatever conversation is happening?
I'll aim to move us along later this evening!
Close your eyes, bro
I've had trouble keeping up myelf. Shall We assume Geron is keeping up with the group or has he followed Ciarren to the library?

I'm having a lot of trouble keeping up. The multiple perspectives keep tripping me up and every time I get close more posts happen.
It might be easier to move this to a Discord server. I'd be happy to set one up if that's okay.
Well, didn’t bdoug specifically say he didn’t have discord? Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m in two very similar PbP campaigns.

I'm strongly in favor of Discord.

Oh definitely, I just wouldn’t be able to be active for most of the day like I am on ddb
