Abishai shoulders his heavy crossbow and draws his longsword and shield has he closes to melee with Jahk the Frozen. Seeing the vicious attack on Skalma, the bearded warrior taunts the little creature. "Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" As he slashes at the goblin.
Attack: 23
Damage: 5 and the target is sapped, giving him disadvantage on his next attack.
Skalma, keeping true to your word you quickly strike the goblinoid down. It barely has time to release a cry of pain before slumping to the ground at your feet.
Initiative has come to a close. The other goblins that were with these four are beyond your current vision, but you know the direction they were last heading, should you wish to follow.

"Ach, we shouldnae done that." Skalma says, dragging a scrap of cloth over the curve of her scimitar, crimson leaking into the once clean fabric. "I saw the look in that wee fella's eyes. He might have been willing tae speak, had we no' rushed tae drawing blood."
She exhales softly, and for once the breath of the frost goliath's breath seems hot enough to form mist. They were just minding their own business, and we slew them without purpose. Senseless.
"I dinnae wish tae give chase and make a bad situation worse. But if ye all want to pursue 'em for some reason, let's no' been the ones to pull our swords free of our scabbards first."
Iden will search the goblins' bodies for anything useful and ask Nilme to search for the used ammunition.

“Can’t say I know much about goblins. Do they normally negotiate with others? … If you wish you can scout next time but for now what is done is done. It might be best to continue to move considering the lack of visibility. I vote that we continue on our mission unless someone wishes to follow the remaining Goblins.”
“I don’t know what you saw, but when I went to scout they charged to attack me! If I hadn’t burrowed underground, who knows what kind of damage they would have done to me! I for one don’t regret their fates.”
The dogmole puts his nose in the air and snuffles around.
”It seems the rest have fled or wandered off so we aren’t in danger from them at this time.”
While searching the goblins and rummaging through their few possession, Iden, you notice a lack of weaponry. Those jagged weapons that you were sure you saw are nowhere to be found. You find 18 silver among the bodies, you find enough various foods, some half eaten, to make 2 rations, and you find various handmade knickknacks, crafted out of bone, stone, and wood.
(OOC: Can I roll arcana to understand why the weapons disappeared.)
Looking at the knickknacks does Iden think he can use any of the stones or bones along with wood he finds to craft bolts or arrows using his woodcarver's tools?
"Perhaps yer right. I hope yer right." Skalma says simply in response to Iden and Thrynn, trying to reassure herself that they collectively made the right choice. But if I were in the shoes of these goblins, and an invisible beastie and his friends were silently sneaking up on me with weapons drawn in the middle of a blizzard, I might not have reacted any differently to them.
For the time being, she suppresses those nagging doubts and chooses not to belabour the point any longer. Instead she summons her energies towards determining their bearing and distance to Frostfall Hold. She lifts her chin to the skies, attempting to make out even the pale outline of the sun in the terrible visibility of the endless snow whipping against her face.
Abishai sheaths his longsword and keeps watch for a counterattack as the group debates the merits of the recent battle. "Better them then us." Is all the bearded fighter says in addition to the discussion.
"Come on, we should keep heading towards Frostfall Hold." He moves to continue their trek, keeping a closer watch in the direction the goblins are headed.
Iden you dig around in the various knickknacks you found. You collect three, two made of stone and one of bone, that are large enough that you could make one or two arrowheads out of, if you carefully break them. Skalma, you take a moment to re-orientate yourself with the help of the sun, finding your bearings and the approximate direction to follow, if you desire to reach Frostfall Hold.
(OOC: Sure Iden, go ahead and give me an arcana check)
Walking her horse back to the group as the last goblin falls, Viletta pats the steaming animal, his head still lifted energetically. She looks back at the weaponless bodies of the goblins. Odd.
To Skalma, she says, "You don't feel sure that they were enemies, foes that are appropriate to cut down without dialogue first...sometimes there is little time to think through such encounters. They did attack first. Even if Thrynn's approach was noticed, they, too, might have called out before attacking. The responsibility for this battle is as much on them as on us. But certainly, one must take care that one is not killing innocents in the midst of war."
She also helps to locate their route to Frostfall Hold. She has no desire to track the other goblins. There is something uncanny about the creatures.
Iden's Turn
Iden strikes at at the goblin with his Warhammer but is unable to swing properly because of the cold.
Nilme's Turn
Nilme flies directly over Jahk and exhales fire at the ground. Right after that Nilme flies 30 feet away.
