I play as a ranger and my party forces me to do combat from within 30 feet of attack distance otherwise they say I am not being brave enough. They go so far as to make me roll a d20 with a negative modifier to make sure I don't "chicken out." Every time the enemies get closer and I want to fall back they wont let me. I am completely miserable. The DM is completely onboard with letting me get obliterated. https://routerlogin.uno/
You have unilateral control over your Character, if you’re not having fun- move on. Longbows in the hands of prepped characters have at least 600ft of range wanting to utilize that is absolutely okay that’s 2 football fields worth of distance, nothing wrong with that.

This reads as if it is coming form the DM more then the party itself. I am not comprehending how fellow PCs can make you roll a morale check without DM buy in to accept the results.
This sounds like you need to talk with the DM about this range versus no range combat. I assume you want to be an archer or some sort of ranged fighter. I also assume the DM does not want any ranged fighters.
This is is a serious impasse. Does the DM not want any ranged combat like a mage that sends out magical damage at range?
This sounds like you're not in the right group. Might be time to step away from the table. If they're really friends they'll meet you half way, if not it's not worth the stress of playing at a table that makes you miserable
