We understand and meant no offense to your people's hospitality, but outside of necessary rest we definitely want to proceed on as directly as possible.
Rasharoo nods, "I will return shortly, please make yourselves comfortable, Stool can you take them somewhere to rest? Perhaps the Circle of Builders, or Circle of Growers would be comfortable for them."
And Rasharoo and heads off with Sovereign Basidia to make his report and Sovereign Phylo heads off to the large Zurkwood covered terrace to finish up his preperations.
"Follow me," says Stool as he heads off to a new area of the village.
Lucky follows the group, looking around cautiously for anything suspicious or out of place (as best as he can tell since he's never seen a village of fungus before).
Stool takes you a little ways away to a terrace that looks like it contains some Myconoid dwellings. One thing you immediately notice it one of the buildings looks Elven in design although it is made entirely of fungal materials. Beside it is a half-finished home that looks similar to the structures you saw in Sloobludop, with a small Myconoid man hard at work building it.
Over on the far side is a slightly raised terrace that looks similar to the field of fungus where you encountered the Drow, but this one is being tended to only by Myconids.
Stool says, "Hold on, I'll get us some snacks", and he walks off.
Lucky takes a moment to gauge his companion's level of caution while they're alone. In a hushed voice, Lucky says, "Ok, now that we appear to be to ourselves, we have a choice to make. We can wait patiently for our hosts to come back, or we can find our own way out of this village, or...?" Lucky holds his hands out and makes a motion indicating he's up for any options the group wants to make for consideration.
**we can say a short resty amount of time goes by**
Stool comes back after a short time with another Myconid carrying some food for you all and you find a comfortable place to sit and rest. After a little while the man who was building the structure notices you and comes over excitedly and uses his spores to speak with you, "Oh wow, oh wow. Surface folks. You guys are from up top right? You must live in all kinds of crazy looking buildings, would you have a few minutes to tell me about some of the different architecture you've see up on the top?"
During the Short Rest, Lucky brings out his Shawm and plays a relaxing melody for his companions.
Song of Rest
During a short rest, friendly creatures who can hear your performance regain additional hit points when they spend Hit Dice based on your level: 1d6 for my current level.
Lucky, always one to engage in story-telling begins to regale exaggerative descriptions of the most famous buildings in the 'surface lands' above. From Elvish empires hidden away in the magical forests, to mighty castles built to defend even mightier kingdoms, and fantastic Dwarven cities, nestled deep beneath gigantic mountains. Once Lucky's sure he sees a peak interest in these wondrous structures, he proceeds to ask, "Surely you'd like to see these truly awe-inspiring feats of architectural brilliance, do you not?! Why of course you do! Lead the way on to the surface and I'll personally take you on as my dependable travel companion. You're familiar with the term Bard's Loyal Apprentice, or BLA, for short, yes?" Lucky pauses for a moment, to allow the Myconid a chance to catch his breath and pick his proverbial 'jaw' back up from the floor before closing with, "Onward we should be then! Unless you have need to show us something of importance here that we may take with us on the way there?"
Garruk transforms back to his dwarven form during the point in time that they are alone. When he hears Recwyin telling the details of Druid life, he pitches in, describing his time with Nylea.
The Myconid sits enraptured by your descriptions of the surface dwellings you describe. He turns to Lucky after his offer, "Sorry friend, I don't know how to get up there, always wanted to go though. I've never even left the Grove. I've just been having these dreams lately of all these different places, palaces, castles, huge homes from some other place. I saw this one huge tower even greater than Yggmorgus. I hope to build something so grand one day, with the aid of Araumycos of course."

Rhogar will follow Stool, while keeping an eye out while instructing Sut to follow Rasharoo from above.
Recwyin follows
Garruk sticks to Recwyin’s side, keeping up his charade.

Bigsby follows along, not really concerned too much.

I'm ok with a short wait but the longer it is before we leave the more uneasy I'll feel. Recwyin will whisper back.
Stool has been nothing other than a friend, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt.”
Rhogar will find a nice place to sit. "I could go for a snack I guess..."
(DM - Are we doing a "Short Rest" or will it be even shorter than that?)

Recwyin has spent most of his early life with druids and the rest in the woods but obliges telling him of hut, teepees and treehouses

Interesting dreams. Are they new or different from usual? When did they start?
