**Bigsby and rhogar… You went out of order. It was Garruk then the priestess and whip. Then back around. I can keep those and use them next round. Or you can re-post after.**
Recwyin takes a moment focusing all he learned from his time alone and prepares himself. Muttering the words as he draws he casts hunters mark on this beast before loosing an arrow. Atrack27 damage8 hunters mark 5 (if it is less than max hp) colossus slayer 6
**No! Lol. I literally just said it's Garruk and then the priestess and whip! Then it's back to you!**
Garruk takes a swipe and a chomp at the priestess, but he's a little distracted by the thirty foot tall, two headed demon who is destroying the village and eating Kuotoans whole.
The remaining whip disengages and starts to run away from the large approaching creature.
Priestess Bloppblippodd screams, "Yesss! The Deep Father has risen! You will all kneel before him!"
Before we move to the next round I need you all to make Charisma saving throws after you saw the demon rise. And also Wisdom saving throws from the Prieatess' spell.
You all pause for a moment when this foul creature stands up to its full height. Looking up over the tops of the buildings you see this impossible creature pick up a Kuo-toan citizen and rip it in half with its mighty jaws, while its other head roars with fury. At the same time the Priestess takes the opportunity to try to gain the upper hand on you all. She casts Hold Person at a high level, attempting to Paralyze you all, so her Deep Father can consume you. Fortunately, most of you are able to withstand the effects of the spell, leaving only Garruk paralyzed. However the sight of the creature is too much for some of you. Its horrible nature is beyond what your mind can handle, and you face the following effects:
Recwyin - You begin (screaming/laughing/crying) for the next 7mins Rhogar - You begin having vivid hallucinations for the next 8 mins (dis on ability checks) Garruk - You begin babbling incoherently for the next 4 mins - (but i guess youre just babbling in your head, cause you're paralyzed) Lucky - You feel an overwhelming urge to consume the dead fish that make up the alter for the next 7 mins Bigsby - You are perfectly fine
(Wow. Just...wow. Bigsby, not sure what you can do here but being paralyzed for even a minute is an eternity in combat time. As for the rest of us, DM, what disadvantage in combat terms do we all have? I think I only saw the diisadvantage on ability checks for Rhogar.)
**I can’t communicate and neither can Recwyin, Lucky now has a random sidequest to eat all the dead fish, and Rhogar is seeing hallucinations and has disadvantage on skill checks. Mechanically, none of the insanity effects are all that bad, but you have to take them in context. Lucky looses turns eating, Rhogar is wasting attacks or maybe even spell slots on the hallucinations around him, Recwyin and Garruk can’t provide vocal components to spells.**
**That is correct, but keep in mind that you may be seeing things around you that you believe to be real. Attacks may end up wasted even though you don’t have disadvantage**
Rhogar can still attack,, it only mentions dis. for ability checks,
Recwyin is basically incapacitated, just sreaming and crying with madness
Lucky, i feel like the overwhelming urge would prevent you from performing any action that wasn't eating dead fish, but if you can justify to me that it makes sense for you to do something while you eat, ill consider it
Garruk is paralyzed by the spell and also just sort of growling to himself in his own mind, so...
Recwyin sees the beast and knows to say the words but he simply cant. Nothing coherent comes from his lips just an almost sobbing laugh like a madman would make. He shoots the beast. Except he doesn't, its just in his mind in reality he hasn't moved anything but his mouth as he shouts and cries appearing far closer to mad than his imagination had him believe.
**DId I just get skipped? If so, then I’m just going to go ahead now**
Garruk continues to try and disable the priestess, hoping her death with loosen the connection this demon has to the material plane.

***Rhogar is great! he is going to just listen to the magical unicorn fluttering above his head and keep shooting at that smug priestess***
