(Lucky would like to assist Rasharoo with his illness if possible. Perhaps an investigation check for determining what is causing the issue and how to possibly cure it?)

Survival 19 Recwyin will take any advice he can get from our underdark residents and begin scouting for a road to the surface, or at least not back the way we came or towards the village
Topsy and Turvey are confident that they could take you back to the main tunnel that led to the lake, they're not sure where to go from there, but it looked a bit more well traveled than other places you have been down here.
Lucky, you confer with Bigsby while looking over Rasharoo and it seems like his affliction is mental rather then physical. Bigsby thinks he could cure him with a Lesser Restoration Spell like he did when you were all in Sloobludop, but he would need a nights rest in order to do it.
You all fortify your spot a bit more and take turns keeping watch. Although you hear a bit of noise off in the distance once, you are undisturbed for your long rest. When Bigsby is able to, he casts Lesser Restoration on Rasharoo.
Rsharoos breathing final slows and his eyes become clear again. "What..what happened? Where are we? "
Things went poorly. Our hosts seemed nice but we're pretty sure they worship the zombie fungus and were going to have a cult like mass death/infection ceremony. We left or at least tried. Got stopped. Fought. They messed with your mind and now we're here. I'm pretty confident that I speak for the group in saying we would like to leave the under dark now without going through either village we've been in. Ideas?
Rhogar will look up to Rsharoo. "your people were being tricked... infected by the terrible fungus that seems to drive people mad and turn them into mindless slaves." Rhogar will stand and give Sut a quick pat on the head as he flies over and lands on the hobgoblins shoulder. "If any of your people are still uninfected I would not mind returning to free them and to set fire to the fields of that terrible fungus being grown... but I will see what our companions decide."
I am not opposed but after our escape, the creation of the blob thing and passing of time I doubt any free people survive. If the whole village is infected I doubt we can stop this alone. We need help and I think the surface is the place to find it.
**You guys can all level up to lvl 5 now too, during that long rest**
Rasharoo listens with his head lowered, when you are finished explaining what you saw he looks up to you, "I had some similar experiences during my time in the Grove. Several of my brethren whom I've known my whole life were acting very strangely, speaking of odd dreams they had been having. Sovereign Basidia seemed unaffected and he filled me in on his worries about the actions of Phylo in the recent past. I don't know if it would be safe for us to head back there, although I am very concerned about the fate of Basidia. He has always been a loyal friend, and I'm not sure what happened to him after we separated." He stands up and brushes himself off a bit, "I am thankful for your help in getting me out of there. If you all wish to leave here, I can lead you to where you want to go. Afterwards I will investigate the strange occurrences on my own, there's no need to involve you all in this any further."
Stool will speak up too, "I will stick with you Rasharoo, whatever the rest decide."
(Lucky is in favor of returning once we’ve been to the surface and raised the alarm with a friendly faction who can/wants to help. Right now, he’ll want to continue finding the surface, though.)
You all get packed up and ready to go, and set off back into the twisting tunnels of the Underdark. Buppido and the twins speak with Rasharoo as you travel about places he's been throughout the area around Neverlight Grove. You overhear him telling them that while he hasn't visited it himself the Duergar city of Gracklstugh is within a days travel from here, and not too far from where you are headed. The Duergar there use a system of connecting tunnels that spiral upwards and connect to the surface. Rasharoo and his Circle of Explorers have seen Duergar parties making their way up to the surface but have never been there themselves.
"I feel like the surface is within reach!" Rhogar will say with excitement in his voice, heading towards the city. "I am ready to be out of this damn place and see the sun again."

its funny. Every place we've been in the under dark has sucked... bad, but I still say let's go. Hopefully these duregar are unaffiliated with the ones who worked with slavery and maybe if we're lucky the fungus hasn't spread this far.
along the way Perception for traps, signs of zombie fungus and general useful shit. 18

(Lucky would advocate for curing Rasharoo before moving on, even at the expense of time to do so.)
**thoughts on a long rest?**
(Lucky is in favor of a Long Rest so that we can help Rasharoo with Bigsby's Lesser Restoration spell.)
sounds good to rhogar.
