"Yes, its this way" and Stool starts heading in one direction and then stops. "Or, actually it's this way, yes." and he starts heading for the edge of the cliff, but stops at the edge. "There's a hole in the way"
The rest of you can't hear this, but watch as the little mushroom man walks around.
Stool here has asked for help getting home. He said he knows the way but seems confused. He said there is a hole in the way perhaps he means the chasm.
Sarith, you captured him do you know how to get him home?
Lucky watches the mushroom-like being hop about, searching for direction.
"He definitely looks confused..." Lucky says to nobody in particular.
"We really need to move. Can you ask him, or her, or 'it' if we can help after finding our gear?" Lucky asks of Recwyin.
"In any case, with our current numbers, the guards in the tower may be willing to surrender. If we can interrogate them, it will certainly help us navigate through this dungeon." Lucky poses to the entire group. "In a few minutes, I will be able to understand the languages spoken here in case that helps any of you former slaves."
Rhogar will turn to Lucky. "I agree, we need to sneak up on the 2 guards across the bridge and prevent them from running to alert the others. Then we need to capture the other guard posts before the guards can escape. It looked like the only way in and out is the ladder."
Do we trust the drow? he may be a spy not a slave.
We may or may not get weapons from the first 2 guards. Can any of our new companions cast? The towers have the high ground and cover, our numbers wont mean as much there.
**Going off a previous roll for Sut, because i forgot to mention it.**
There is also another walkway leading from the pen away from the direction you came, around a corner to a part of the cavern you've never been taken. Sut lets Rhogar know that there is a massive stalactite on that side as well with a staircase leading up into it, and also a large metal gate covering a dark cave. You guys cant see that from where you are, but you can see the walkway which hugs the wall.
Rhogar will lift his head as Sut relays the information about the new path. Looking back to the others, Rhogar will relay that information to all of the companions and suggest maybe we could move that way. "If there is a large metal gate preventing access... maybe it leads to a way out?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Lets start putting some distance between us and these pens..." Rhogar will say to the others before heading towards the new found path. He will look up and instruct Sut to fly ahead and look for potential threats and danger
As you're all discussing which way to go, Eldeth steps forward and asks "Did you see a dwarven shield or a warhammer?"
Also Sarith, the imprisoned Drow steps forward. Pointing towards the walkway Sut pointed out he says"Quaggoth Den, and Ilvara's room." This is the first time any of you have heard him speak since being thrown in with you. He holds his head for a moment as if he has a migraine, then adds "Does anyone have a spare weapon?"
“Your familiar is proving quite the useful companion, Rhogar.” Lucky says before glancing over at Leggy. “You’re companionship is valued dearly, my little buddy. Always know that.” Lucky says sincerely to Leggy, ensuring his kind words about Sut aren’t misunderstood to imply Leggy isn’t valued.
Rhogar look at Lucky and give him a quick smile. Thank you sir, many of Sut's abilities are far better than my own. I find that he helps to provide me with a strategic advantage in many situations. He is also a dear friend. Sut will let out a friendly hoot as Rhogar relays Luckys compliment to up to him. Rhogar will then turn to Eldeth and reply "we did recover a shield I believe but I am not sure that it was dwarven... Rhogar will tap his chin with his finger as though in deep thought. We have not found any war hammers as far as I know.
“The shield we got off of a Drow” Garruk pitches in. He is looking around nervously, ready to get moving now that the slaves are all freed. He turns to the group he escaped with and says: “If we attack the tower, then we just draw attention to ourselves. I say that we just get out of here before they have wind of our escape. We can always return to put an end to this operation some other time.”
Rhogar will announce to the others "Enemies incoming guys! One of the 2 gaurds we passed is crossing the bridge and heading this way" Rhogar will move over to the rope bridge and start trying to cut the ropes with his dagger unless anyone stops him.
"I'm from Neverlight Grove, have you been? I can take you there. I know the way"
No, I don't believe I have been, but if you can show the way I'll take you. Where first into the cavern or heading out?

Lucky brings out his Shawm and uses it as a focus to cast Comprehend Languages.
Shouldn't be a problem Lucky, no matter what I think we have to pass the towers. Soot you good with his suggestion?
Rhogar will turn to Lucky. "I agree, we need to sneak up on the 2 guards across the bridge and prevent them from running to alert the others. Then we need to capture the other guard posts before the guards can escape. It looked like the only way in and out is the ladder."

Only 1 way to know where it leads.

I recall no dwarven items, but we may have a spare dagger.

Sut lets Rhogar know that one of the guards from the tower you passed through is coming across the bridge towards you.
Rhogar will announce to the others "Enemies incoming guys! One of the 2 gaurds we passed is crossing the bridge and heading this way" Rhogar will move over to the rope bridge and start trying to cut the ropes with his dagger unless anyone stops him.
Recwyin will use his shortsword and help cut the bridge
