I am going to run a level 13 wave-based oneshot inspired by the idea of tower defence games. You will not win, but you will compete to do the best.
This will be run with 4 players. I can do as many groups as you want.
Character creation:
Standard array, free PBH only, encumberment on (no coin), and you will have whatever equipment you want (non-magical) + 3 common magical + 2 uncommon magical + 1 rare magical
Once the pod of four players has been selected, I will make a new thread, and you can collaborate on characters. At this time, you will also be given a map of the place you are defending.
Can I give it a try with a Wood Elf Rogue (Thief) with the Criminal background, and for my magic items I took 3 potions of healing (common), Boots of Striding and Springing and an Eversmoking Bottle (uncommon), and a Vicious Shortbow (rare)?
edit: This will be challenging as the free PHB only allows 1 subclass for each class, 4 backgrounds, and the only feats are the ASI or Grappler.
