Amaruve picks up the crowbar in his teeth and gives it a try (Str: 18)...

Maybe Jean will have better luck. Amaruve nods to her. Having obvious trouble without any hands.

Tony will once again try to pick his lock while stalking towards the children, 15, once again to no avail. Muttering to himself, “You know what, forget it, I’ll make do,” Tony will dash toward Tonya intent on grabbing her and then pulling her back with him quickly! He will dash and with his goblin bonus action, hide: 19!

Seeing Tony making a break, Amaruve goes into action. He spits a burst of flames at the enthralled Arakocra, hitting 11 for 3 fire, as he leaps across the water and his Rage begins to flow like the water below.

The fire wraps around the entralled kenku, sculpted around an invisible barrier that smokes in the wake of Amaruve's spell. Fiorello shouts, "Above you!" and you see on a platform high above your heads the silver glare of a gate. Out steps Sagacious, the grey-skinned, blue-horned tiefling. He wears a simple black uniform cut in a fashionable style. The cuffs and collar are lined with silver trim, and he wears a number of rings at his fingers and silver bands on his horns. Rather than the scientist that Perspicacious described to you, he looks like a wealthy magelord, complete with a deep blue cowl at his shoulders. He carries no obvious weaponry or arcane focus...

"Good morning, my guests!" He speaks softly, but (in an incredibly dense display of fantasy tropes) his voice carries around the Solarium regardless. "I commend you for having bypassed the stormwall surrounding Laputa, my kingdom!" He spreads his arm wide, and an entirely sane smile plays at the corners of his lips. 

"I believe that a number of introductions are in order, though I believe I know you each by reputation? Let's see, we have our distinguished representatives of the Tower, Madam O'Donoghue and Master Al'Ameth. Abandoned in the Atrium, I realize, is Ms. Cordelia Luna and her two familiars, one an awakened beast by the name of Kyo? Then we have my dear friend and colleague Perspicacious who is currently attempting not to be murdered by the Guardians of Order in the Antechamber. And then we have two... locals."

He glances down at Fiorello and Tony, both chained. "I'm afraid that you are both descendants of the ursurpers of this plane, and you are not welcome here. Furthermore, I can only imagine that you intend to remove a piece of my property," he gestures to Tony's little sister, "And of course that cannot be allowed. Members of the Tower and usurpers, before you are expelled from this place, may I introduce Master Burgee?"

With that the Kenku lowers to the ground and shakes his head. He raises his staff and then slams it downward, sending ripples of water around the pool surrounding you as the stormcloud above his head ceases its deluge. 

"I'm afraid that Master Burgee is unable to speak at the moment. Much of his mind is devoted to the task of maintaining the stormwall, you understand. I believe I can entrust him with the task of seeing you on your way, however."

Amaruve Growls

“Stealing? Oh buddy, I’m gonna clean you out for fun. It won’t even be a challenge!” Tony is going to punch his own gut with the lounge knuckle! Uh, that’s a Con Save of 6.

I have been informed that due to my CON Save, the hole now covers my face as well. In lieu of this,

”MGHHMM!” Tony feels around for his face and rolls his head in exasperation, “Mh mhummn hmmhmmhn...” Regardless, Tony will stuff his sister into the hole and then try to use his heightened sense to get a lay of the room. If he can find another child, he will stuff them in his face too!

(Oh god- I'm going to need a... perception check? Make a perception check with disadvantage to ascertain the location of the various children(?)- How did this fly off the rails so quickly?!)

Sagacious does not look like a man tiefling who is easily taken aback. He is currently taken aback. As Tony begins to blindly stumble around the platform, stuffing children into his BODY CAVITY, he puts a hand to his mouth and his eyes widen. 

"This is... appalling," he says after a few moments. He raises his hand in Tony's direction and power begins to gather around it in a greasy yellow light. 

Just before the spell is cast, however, the double doors directly across from his burst open. Smoke billows out, and the screams of two burning trees fills the Solarium. Perspicacious arrives on the scene, and Sagacious' eyes widen further still. 

"Kill them," Sagacious whispers as he turns back toward Tony. "And be sure to spare a couple of the passkeys the goblin is... swallowing."

A silver gate appears behind him, and he disappears through it.

It's fight time! 

Initiative:

With a 17 Perception and an 8 Initiative, Tony is absorbing all of these children!

Tony makes a swift circuit around the platform, gobbling up the unresponsive children and securing them in his pocket lounge. 

Burgee looks at the group with his milk-white eyes. He taps his staff upon the ground, and he is immediately surrounded by a spherical wall of ice. (Looks like you've discovered where that wall that destroyed Tony's and Kyo's ship came from!)

The storm cloud continues to swirl overhead. For now, though. There is no immediate sign of an impending attack.

Tony will take the Dodge and run toward the sound of cracking ice!

Tony runs into the ice and rebounds because it's a wall of ice.

“Mghm! Mgmm hmmgh mhh mh ih!” Tony will wait patiently for his next turn.

Jean stared uncomprehendingly at Tony. "Did he just eat all of the children? How? And please don't tell me what happens when they come out of the other end."

Perspicacious rushes in to the room, nearly out of breath, smoke trailing off of her, though she does not appear to have caught fire herself. She takes a quick look around the room at... what in the nine hells was all of this? A giant wall of ice, and children be swallowed up by, was that Tony? 

Sighing at her circumstance, escaping the frying pan and entering into this mess, Perspicacious runs up to Tony and tries to unlock his handcuffs.

Amaruve charges the smooth ice sphere and leaps as he grows into a more fierce and powerful bear. (Brown Bear)

He Recklessly bites and claws at the ice chipping away the surface, biting AC 26 for 12 and slashing AC 15 for 14.

Perspicacious rushes over to Tony and deftly frees him from his bonds. (You're free, Tony!)

Amaruve manages to seriously crack one of the panels of ice that comprise the dome. Reckless or not, it doesn't look as though any other attacks are coming...

For his action, Fiorello struggles in vain to free himself from his own bonds.

The small storm cloud overhead grows very still, as does the water in the pool surrounding you...
