THE ALT OF FOALIN you can call me Fay, or make something up. "No doubt I'll tire of this eventually, but for now... I am content." -Murtagh if you are bored, go watch SAO(it's amazing) extended sig(hint, click) :3
Magical items: Rare items: +1 full plate armor, Vicious Longsword; Uncommon items: +1 Shield, Bag of Holding, Cloak of Protection
Backstory: Gail was a child, living with her parents in a small village, until the village was attacked by a horde of zombies! Everyone man, woman, and child was attacked and carried off. Gail was lucky, the zombie carrying her stumbled at one point and dropped her. She was even luckier, even without treatment, her wounds stopped bleeding and she condition stabilized. But luckiest of all, she was found by a group of heroes hunting that necromancer that had attacked her village. After dealing with the necromancer, they brought the orphan Gail home with them and trained her, along with other orphans they had picked up during their travels. Now a powerful fighter in her own right, Gail travels the world as a hero, both in homage to the heroes that had saved her, and so that no one else has to go though what she did. The heroes that raised her passed on items to help keep a vanguard alive in battle.
Hard and soft limits: No hard limits, though I would prefer explicit love scenes fade to black, and would prefer not to see constant cursing from any of the other characters. No problem at all with occasional curses, made up curse words that don't mean anything, or the elaborate curses that don't involve profanity.
Magical items: Rare - Flame Tongue Shortsword, Studded Leather +1, Uncommon - Dagger of warning, Amulet of the Devout, Boots of Elvenkind
Backstory: Hailing from Lyrabar in Impultir, Scarlett is a black haired, amber eyed tiefling, with a lithe athletic build. She is usually found wearing a red hooded cape, leading to those few who know her calling her Rotkäppchen. No-one knows her family name, not even Scarlett herself, and Scarlett is probably not her birth name. Losing her parents at a young age, Scarlett was given into the ‘care’ of one of the local orphanages. Fortunately for her, she was deemed unsuitable to be a ‘companion’. Instead, she was given into the care of Gaefin, a half-elf whose main responsibility was training his young charges as pickpockets, thieves and beggars. After a few years of training, she became one of his star pupils, well versed in the ways of the streets and alleys. She also came to hear of Assuran, the god of revenge & poetic justice. A short time later, after talking to the very few of Gaefin’s pupils that she trusted, she acted. The first rule of her trade was ‘don’t be noticed’. So, she made sure that she was seen. On more then one occasion she let herself be seen and followed, until the fourth time when she led the Watch straight to Gaefin’s door. As the Watch arrested Gaefin, she disappeared into the shadows, along with several others who knew the plan. Since then she has moved and acted to help those who require it, and sworn herself to the creed of Assuran. Uphold true and fitting justice and maintain the spirit of law, not the letter of law. Fitting recompense will always accrue for one's actions. Violence will meet violence and evil pay back evil, but good will also come to those who do good. Walk the line of the Doombringer's teachings, seeking retribution, but do not fall into the trap of pursuing evil acts for evil's sake, for that way is seductive and leads only to one's downfall. Vengeance must be sought for all injustices, and all punishments must fit the crime. Revenge is sweetest when it is sharpened with irony. All attacks must be avenged. Those who do not respond to attacks against their person or that which they hold dear only invite future attacks.
Born to a family of unremarkable scholars, Etrus Ocul learned early that knowledge was power … but also confinement. The libraries of his youth were exhaustive yet hollow, filled with safe truths polished smooth by generations of timid minds.
Dissatisfied, Etrus turned to the knowledge deliberately forgotten: sealed crypts beneath temples, sunken ruins, and dungeons spoken of only in fearful rumor. In those depths, he found lore untouched by censors; sigils that shifted when read, altars that answered questions no priest would ask.
It was during one such expedition that Etrus first felt the presence watching him from beyond reality. It did not speak, yet its revelations reshaped his understanding of the cosmos and bound him to a pact he only partially comprehends. Since then, Etrus has sought out ever more dangerous dungeons, driven by obsession rather than courage. Each descent yielded insight at the cost of certainty. Now, standing before the threshold of the darkest ruin yet uncovered, Etrus senses that his past explorations were merely preparation for what waits below.
Hard limits: it doesn’t sound like it would fit the tone and dungeon, but no romantic role play. I wouldn’t want to role play that with a character.
Soft limits: Horror involving children, graphically. Babies and infants, that sort of thing. I wouldn’t mind rescuing a kid from a dungeon but I wouldn’t want to have really explicit child injury.
Backstory: Perry grew up on the harsh frontier, learning survival from a young age. He tried to escape his situation with scholarship, but he was drafted to mercenary work during one of the many border skirmishes. This forged him into a hardened survivor, skilled in combat. A charismatic leader, Perry quickly rose through the ranks of his mercenary company, earning a reputation for both bravery and cunning. Haunted by the loss of comrades and the horrors of war, Perry seeks redemption through his sword, hoping to make a lasting impact on the world. Driven by a thirst for adventure and a desire to prove his worth, Perry is always on the lookout for the next lucrative contract, no matter how dangerous.
Hard and soft limits: No limits
