Scarlett looks at the path, then looks to her companions. "Does anyone have a preference? Or shall we let fate decide?" She draws out a coin with a two-faced head.
THE ALT OF FOALIN you can call me Fay, or make something up. "No doubt I'll tire of this eventually, but for now... I am content." -Murtagh if you are bored, go watch SAO(it's amazing) extended sig(hint, click) :3
A thin, high voice, dry — like the rustling of pages in a desiccated library — speaks.
“The one who none come out. Left or right, that is our fate. The gamble we make is that we return. Peril is certain whatever our path. Go and I will follow.”

Musashi narrows his eyes at the split path. "Peril is the only thing this place guarantees“ he remarks, nodding toward the thin-voiced companion.
He looks to Scarlett and the coin. "In my experience, the path doesn't matter as much as the spirit of those walking it. Left or right, the result will be the same for our enemies. Flip it Scarlett. Let's see where our journey begins."
Etrus turns his gaunt face in your direction for a moment, then reaches up towards his eye, his other hand on the dark … leather … tome that hangs from his side wrapped in thin, dark chain.
He whispers and withdraws his hand and throws out a spectral eye, that quickly fades into invisibility, as it heads down the rightward path.
Scarlett flips the coin and looks as it lands heads up. She looks at Gail "I guess we're going left then." She looks at Etrus briefly, then back to Gail "unless you prefer our friend's option?"
Musashi settles into a relaxed but ready stance, his weight centered. He doesn't rush. He watches the spot where the eye disappeared, then looks to Gail.
"It is better to walk into the dark with one eye open than none" he says calmly. “We have the coin's direction, but let us hear what the sorcerer finds. A moment of patience now may save us a lifetime of regret."
“We go left and my eye goes right. Why choose just one path? Why bet on just one winner? My body will be with you and my mind will wend another way, until you need me back.”
(Arcane eye feeds me what it sees as it travels down the other path at 30 feet speed. It’s invisible. It doesn’t appear to make me deaf or dumb while it’s in use like some familiar’s abilities do, and it lasts one hour.)
(What is the lighting like in the dungeon so far. Bright or dim or dark?)

(Etrus is the squishiest, least well armored I think? Please may he be middle? He is human but has devil’s sight, so he just sees normally in low light, can see colour etc, compared to Darkvision, so he can still be useful from the middle, presuming he can see ahead of those in front.)
As you stand at the entrance of the dungeon, you remember all that has gone in and come out, the thought sending shivers down your spine
But then the name sends more shivers down your spine, "The One Who None Come Out." I mean, who named stuff like that?
But you shove your fears down, and walk into the Dungeon, "The One Who None Come Out."
Upon entering, you see that the path immediately splits, going in two directions, Right and Left
What would you guys like to do?

"wait wait wait. are we really going in there?"

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

Arcane Eye
(this will be interesting. 2024 warlocks have access to at will arcane eye, way earlier than level 15, so at least we can explore options safely).
Gail was used to seeing magic, but hadn't seen that spell before. "What was that?" she asked.
Scarlett flips the coin and looks as it lands heads up. She looks at Gail "I guess we're going left then." She looks at Etrus briefly, then back to Gail "unless you prefer our friend's option?"

Gail asks, "Can he see through that eye? But it faded away as soon as it started moving. Still I don't mind waiting a bit if he can scout ahead."
