Necyra cackles, a sound like dry leaves skittering on stone.  "False floors?  Ooh, I love a good trapdoor!  It’s like the tunnel is playin' peek-a-boo with your ankles."

She hovers a few inches higher, but still safely behind Gail, her eyes locked on the figure with the fire-staff.  "Hey, Gail-ski!  Thanks for the heads-up.  Maybe don't charge in a straight line unless you want to find out what’s keepin' the basement warm."

As Etriel flickers out of existence, Necyra’s head also swivels 180 degrees to follow the Eladrin's path.  "And there goes Treilly, playin' hide-and-seek with the universe again.  Brave or crazy...usually both."

She raises her hand, her star-freckles spinning faster, preparing to let some conjured imaginary friends loose the second a claw or a wingtip breaks that stubborn red smoke.  "The smoke didn't budge for the fireball, Ashy.  That ain't just smoke.  That’s breath that forgot to go away."
