Kitsune arrives at the door with surgical silence, her gaze flitting between the wood and Mr. Torvil the Snow Plow, now positioned to breach it. Though the specifics of the whispers elude her, the rhythm of the noise suggests a systematic search rather than a casual looting.
"The subjects inside are prioritizing concealment over speed" she breathes, her eyes darting to Torvil. "A calculated search. Vayne is braced...we should not wait for the subjects to find whatever they are seeking."
She shifts her weight, preparing to follow the dwarf’s lead the moment the threshold is crossed. "On your mark, Torvil. Let’s provide these ruffians with a formal introduction."
((Torvil did take the dagger, in a sack, he did not touch it or examine it. He is holding the sack as far away from him as he can. If Kitsune gives him the stink eye about this, he will leave it with Tulgi))
"Les have a looksee what's going on inside, whaddya think?" Torvil sneaks up close to the door, trying to locate by sound the direction and number of voices inside, and options about going in undetected.

Vayne trots to the door, peeks in around Kitsune and sees that one of the would be thieves has already received a special delivery from Akira. Digging deeply into his very essence, the tiefling draws on the simmering arcane force that is born of raw magic. Eyes narrowing in concentration, he utters an arcane chant, drawing out the last s, like a long hissssssssssssssssssssssss. A creeping, slithering finger of noxious black and green energy sprang from his outstretched finger, erupting in the face of B4 as a poisonous spray. The wounded elf breathed in in shock, pulling the arcane poison deep into his lungs. He choaked, gagged, and collapsed into a convulsing heap of blood and vomit before going very still.
With a small smirk of satisfaction, the sorcerer drops back and stays out of the building. He stops out of the way to the left so Kitsune has a clear look into the room.

Kitsune’s pupils dilate as she crosses the threshold, her elven heritage rendering the dark gloom of the shop into a crisp, if monochromatic, landscape of tactical data. While the humans and halflings might struggle in the dark, her darkvision maps every splinter of debris and the panicked heartbeats of the remaining four targets.
She pokes her head past the doorframe, watching B4’s convulsing remains with a cold, analytical tilt of her head. "A pity" she mutters, her voice a dry rasp behind her filter. "None of you will be around long enough for a proper interrogation."
With a sharp flick of her fingers, she weaves a strand of predatory magic, tethering her focus to the bandit in the far northeast corner (B5). (Bonus Action: Kitsune casts Hunter's Mark at B5, marking him for the attack!)
Ignoring the difficult terrain with calculated strides, she weaves through the wreckage of smashed cabinets to close the distance. Her shortsword clears its scabbard with a hiss, the blade catching the dim light from the doorway as she drives it toward the marked elf's ribs.
Shortsword Attack on B5: 25 Damage: 10 + 4 force damage

***Merlin, is Kitsune using Blessing of the Raven Queen to bypass the difficult terrain?
OOC: Wasn't planning on that, but if the terrain is difficult and Kitsune couldn't feasibly get there with her regular speed in one round, then yeah, I'll burn that so I can get her <failed> attack in! DOH! :-)
Due to the difficult terrain caused by smashed boxes, shelves. counters, stock, and furniture, Kitsune calls on her magic to bypass the disaster that once was Pelc's Curiosities. Her blade flashes in the dim light, but the bandit, while backing away, slipped on a bottle. He nearly fell, narrowly avoiding the ranger's attack. ***B/A for BotRQ - attack miss - Hunter's Mark is unused due to conflicting B/A***
Bandit 1 levels his crossbow and fires at Torvil. ***attack 18 hit! 5 piercing damage *** The bolt flies true, clicking off the edge of his shield but finding it's mark in his thigh. His rage carries him on, the hit barely a scratch.
Bandit 2 follows his buddies lead, firing again at Torvil. ***attack 8 miss! *** His shot was considerably less steady. His hands trembling slightly, he fires wide of his mark; the bolt flew out the door and sailed harmlessly into the snow.
Bandit 3 takes aim at Akira, the broken fragments of a table offer a little cover, but not much. ***attack 23 critical hit 9 piercing damage *** Bandit 3 was clearly the marksman of the group. His shot found it's mark with brutal efficiency, the arrow slamming into Akira's shoulder. The arrow passed partially through, fletchings poking out of her leather armor in the front, and a crimson stained arrowhead and shaft poking out the back.
Bandit 5 draws his scimitar and attacks Kitsune. ***attack 19 hit! 6 slashing damage*** Recovering quickly from his stumble, Bandit 5 slashes across with his scimitar, opening a deep gash across her arm and shoulder.
***OoC: Ongoing effects: Vayne: mage armor Ooooooooooo my, those Bandits rolled really well. I am using the VTT, so I think it tracks those rolls in the app too. The party is up... Please keep track of your health on your character sheet, please and thank you!***
